A solid addition to our home
It did take a bit of time to arrive, but we were expecting that and ordered ahead. We got the 100cm size. The flat pack was packed well, and the instructions were clear—putting it together took me about an hour, though having a second person would speed things up. Everything, including the parts and screws, was labeled, which made it easy. The box even had a screwdriver and tools included, so you don’t need to grab anything else. This crate feels sturdy and has some weight to it, so you might want two people to move it around. It looks great and gives off a nice furniture vibe, which is what we were after since traditional crates aren't our style. The sliding door operates smoothly, and the locks work just right. It opens from two sides: it rolls out from the front and swings open on the left. Overall, I’m really happy with the quality—can't find anything wrong with it. It matches the picture pretty closely, just a touch darker on top. I'd say it exceeds what I expected. For the quality, it's worth it.

Great upgrade from regular crates
My little princess really likes this penthouse crate. It did take a bit to put together, but I think it's worth it. The material feels solid and looks great. The sliding door makes some noise, which can be a bit much for my skittish dog. I do feel like the latch on that door could be better, and I’m a little worried she’ll figure out how to open it someday. But they include a latch at the bottom to stop it from sliding open completely, which is nice.

Great Space for Our Dog
I'm really happy with our purchase! This kennel is a bit larger than what I expected for our 40lb dog, giving her plenty of room to lounge around, and she loves hanging out with part of her body out. I threw in a bath mat for some extra comfort, and it fits just right. It's easy to clean, though it mostly just gets messy with her toys. The doors open and close smoothly, which is nice. It seems sturdy and looks pretty nice in our home. Just a heads up, we don't actually close the doors, so I can't say how secure it is for keeping her contained. I do worry she might chew through the bars since they're not solid metal.

Perfect mix of function and style
I picked this up over a year ago for my Shiba Inu after she quickly outgrew her puppy crate. It took her a day or so to get used to it, but it’s been great! It fits well with the rest of our furniture, and the storage on top for her toys, treats, and gear is super handy. Putting it together was easy, especially if you're familiar with similar furniture. One feature I love is the front sliding door—there's both a regular metal latch and a barrel bolt lock. When she was a puppy, we used both locks to keep her contained, but now we just use the metal latch and she knows how to open it when she's up. It still feels solid after a year, and cleaning is a breeze. She only had one accident in it early on, but since then, it wipes down easily. I’d recommend this crate; just make sure your dog fits in it before you order!

A good solid furniture crate
It took a little while to arrive, but we anticipated this and ordered in good time. We ordered the 100cm size. Packed well as flat pack furniture. Instruction booklet is straight forward and was able to put it together without any issues in maybe an hour or so. Would be quicker with more than one person. Parts and screws etc are labelled with letters or numbers which is useful. The box also includes a screwdriver and tools so you don’t need anything else, it’s all included. The crate itself feels solid and thick. It’s quite weighty so may need two people to move it. It looks good, like a real piece of furniture which was important to us as we don’t like the appearance of traditional crates. The sliding door is smooth and the clap and locks work perfectly. The crate opens on two sides. It rolls open at the front, and opens like a door on the left. Overall, really pleased with the quality. I can’t fault it. It’s exactly how it looks in the picture, although ever so slightly darker brown on the top. I’d go as far as saying it exceeds my expectations. Definitely would recommend. It’s good value for the quality.

This is perfect for our new puppy. When she’s grown it will still be the right size. Take your time assembling it. Go over the directions first. Inventory the hardware. Unlike some furniture manufacturers they include at least one extra item. I only needed a hand at one step and the rest I was able to do on my own. It’s sturdy also and looks nice in our living room. Some reviews stated a problem with the barn door either making too much noise when moving it or not functioning properly. This is where you pay close attention to the instructions. There’s a tab that attaches at the bottom of the door that goes in the track on the floor. You have to hang the door on the rail then come in from behind and attach the tab. In the end we are completely satisfied with this and highly recommend it.

Great looking crate
I wanted a dog crate that looked like furniture as I would be keeping it in my dining room/living room area. Initially I wanted one with drawers, but it turned out that I was going to get to pick up my rescue dog about a week earlier than I thought, so I ordered this as it was scheduled to come the day before I was going to pick up my dog and none of the crates with drawers I was looking at would come in time. Unfortunately, it then got delayed by several days (can't fault the product for that, maybe Hawkins Woodshop). So, I do wish I just ordered one with the drawer even though I wouldn't get it before I got my dog since that was the case with this anyway. I "solved" the organization issue that caused by buying a couple baskets that I put on top of the crate to hold my dog's things, they just aren't out of sight when there are guests as I had wanted. Still, it looks like furniture, and not just a cage. I have friends or family over nearly every week. I've had multiple guests comment on how good it looks, and some who are dog owners are considering buying this crate, or one like it, after seeing mine. Be careful when putting it together. The particle board isn't as strong/thick as I expected. When putting one of the pegs into its hole, I used a hammer (like I've found helpful when putting ikea furniture together) and it pushed it all the way through, even though I just used a gentle tap with the hammer. I took the piece of particle board it ripped out and repaired it as best I could with Gorilla Glue. I thought it was going to look terrible, but it is hidden enough that, even when you look for it, it is hard to tell I needed to do a repair. Still, if you are careful and just insert the pegs into their holes with your fingers you will be fine (again, do not use a hammer). I have only had it for about 2 months, so it is hard to judge durability yet, but it seems to be fine. It works as it should and keeps my dog in when he needs to be in his crate (and he will try to get out). I like that there are two doors. I feed him in his crate, so it is nice to have one for him to enter and exit the crate, and another for his food bowl.
