This crate is adorable and pretty easy to put together by yourself. It was packed well, and everything arrived in good shape. The materials feel durable, and once I got it built, it felt sturdy enough. My lab, who is around 75-80 pounds, fits perfectly in the 48” size with a bit of extra room. Just a tip for anyone with a puppy: they don’t need a ton of space at that age. Here are some tips for assembly: use blue painter's tape to keep the doors from swinging open while you work on it. You can attach the locking hardware later, once it’s all together, which is easier. When you start, the first step is to attach one wall (double door) to the crate floor. You might need to prop the floor up a bit to get everything aligned. I used the two sheets of styrofoam from the box to help with that. Before putting the top on, it’s easier to tip the crate on its side and put the little feet on first. It makes it lighter to move around. I recommend assembling it in the room where you'll be using it, since the bigger crates can be tricky to get through doors once they’re built. Also, when you add the door locking hardware, don’t tighten the screws one at a time. Get them all in first, then tighten them up to keep everything aligned. There were a couple of things I was confused about, like the floor being held in by just four screws, which feels a bit off. There are also four screws in the floor that I’m not sure about, as the instructions didn’t explain them. Despite those little quirks, this crate is super cute and feels sturdy. I recommend it if you’re considering buying one!

Sturdy and versatile crate!
This crate has worked wonders for my beagle who loves to escape! It's sturdy, so having two people to put it together might be a good idea, but it wasn't hard. Since we got it, she hasn't managed to escape, and it even looks nice in our family room. It doubles as a side table beside the couch, which is a bonus. Overall, I'm really pleased with this purchase!

Love love love this! It was very easy to build took maybe 20 minutes. Looks exactly as pictured! Looks so beautiful in my home, blends right in to the point people don’t even realize I have my puppy in there until they hear him move haha. Expensive but worth it! Holds up well! Durable! Safe! My puppy loves his little den!

This crate is so cute and fairly easy to put together, even by yourself. It was packaged very well and nothing was damaged. The materials are pretty durable and once it was built, it felt sturdy. I have an 75-80# lab and the 48” size will be perfect with a little room to spare. Keep that in mind if you are training a puppy- they don’t need extra space yet. Here’s a few things to keep in mind and some tips and tricks. Use blue painters tape to keep doors from opening during assembly. They will flap back and forth while you’re trying to line everything up. I guess you can put the locking hardware on if you’d like but that feels easier to do once it’s all assembled. The first step in the instructions is to assemble one wall (double door) to the crate floor- you’ll need to prop the floor up about an inch-ish to help align the screw and hole. Or have someone help hold it up- although you can do the whole thing by yourself. I used the two sheets of styrofoam from the box. Before you put the top on, tip the crate on its side and put the little feet on so it’s not too heavy to move around and flip. I definitely recommend assembling the larger crates in the room in which they will end up. They might be tricky to get through the door once put together. When you add the door locking hardware, don’t tighten the screws one by one. Wait until all of them are in then tighten. They will align easier. A couple things that made me scratch my head but weren’t worthy of one less star rating- the floor of the crate is only attached by four screws and is kinda just floating otherwise. It might be a good idea to use something underneath to help prop the floor. There are four screws in the floor itself that I’m not sure what the purpose is. Nothing in the directions indicated their purpose. See pic. Other than that, the crate is super cute and feels sturdy. I definitely recommend this one if you’re on the fence.
