This crate is adorable and pretty easy to put together on your own. It arrived well packaged, and thankfully, nothing was damaged. The materials feel durable, and after assembly, it’s quite sturdy. My 75-80 lb lab fits perfectly in the 48” size with a bit of extra room. Just something to consider if you're training a puppy—they don’t need that extra space yet. Here's some helpful tips: use blue painter's tape to keep the doors from swinging open while you assemble it. The first step is attaching one wall (the double door) to the crate floor, and you might need to prop it up a bit to align the screw and hole; I used the styrofoam from the box to help with that. Before adding the top, it's easier to tip the crate on its side to attach the little feet. I suggest putting the larger crates together in the room where they’ll be used, as they might be tough to maneuver through doorways once built. When you add the door locking hardware, make sure to wait to tighten the screws until all are in place; that makes alignment easier. A couple of things puzzled me, like how the crate's floor is only held by four screws and feels a bit loose overall. Also, there are four screws in the floor whose purpose isn’t clear—nothing in the instructions explains them. But despite these minor issues, the crate is super cute and sturdy, and I would recommend it if you're considering a new one!

Sturdy dog crate
This is a solid piece, built with real wood and iron. I have a 95lb pitbull, and he fits comfortably in the 47-inch crate with room to move around. He loves having his own space! The dual access from the side and front is really convenient for placing his bowls inside without them getting knocked over. It also looks like a nice piece of furniture, just be aware that the 47-inch size is quite large, so make sure you have a suitable spot for it. My boyfriend and his friend assembled it in about an hour without any problems.
