So much nicer than wire crates!!
We bought 2 of these for our German Shepherds. 4 boxes were delivered and were a little heavy, but I could still carry each by itself. The packaging is nice, the larger wood pieces had corner protectors for shipping and bands around them to give you something to get ahold of when moving them. Assembly instructions are mostly just pictures, but there isn't much to it. Assembly tools are also included, but I still used my own. You do have to be careful not to over-tighten the bolts, they will crush the metal pieces if you do. I actually assembled everything before fully tightening them down. Overall, I'm really happy with these, they look awesome. I do think the deadbolt style latches could be nicer/stronger, but I think they'll hold up to most dogs. I'm also going to buy plastic protectors for the tops, just to keep them as nice as possible, for as long as possible.

Beautiful and sturdy dog crate that doubles as furniture – highly recommend!
I was looking for a dog crate that didn’t look like a typical wire cage and could blend into our living room. This 33" wooden dog crate is exactly what I wanted. It looks like a nice end table or side table with its white and natural wood finish. The double doors with metal hardware open smoothly and close securely. My Yorkie (pictured) loves it — she goes in willingly and seems very comfortable inside. The size is perfect for her (she’s about 12 lbs), and she has enough room to stand up, turn around, and lie down comfortably. The build quality is solid. The wood feels sturdy, the bars are well-spaced, and the whole unit is heavier than I expected, which makes it stable and quiet when she moves around. It was fairly easy to put together (took about 30 minutes), and the instructions were clear. I especially like that it functions as real furniture — I keep a lamp and some decor on top, and it doesn’t look out of place at all. The side door is convenient for quick access, and the bottom tray slides out for easy cleaning. After a few weeks of daily use, it still looks brand new. My dog has adjusted well and actually treats it as her little “house.” If you want a functional dog crate that doesn’t scream “crate” and looks like nice furniture instead, this is a great option.
