Great kennel, with a few notes...
After putting together the kennel, I discovered a couple extra latches that someone (won’t say who!) didn’t think we needed. But they definitely were needed! Door issue fixed! Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and might go for the larger size if the pups get bigger than expected! It looks nice and feels solid; there’s enough room for our two 45 lb. Dogs who love to snuggle up together. Assembly was straightforward and everything fit perfectly the first time. Just a heads up, though—it’s pretty heavy at about 75 pounds when put together, so grab a buddy to help (we had three!). We assembled it on our bed after cutting the top off the box, which made it easier. Two adults lifted it once finished. The included feet help it slide smoothly, but I suggest using some twine or ties on the doors during assembly to keep them from banging around too much. Also, think about how you want the doors to open before you start putting things together. Now for the not-so-great part: while the dogs jumped in without any trouble and settled in quickly, at 4:15 AM we were greeted by enthusiastic puppy kisses and wagging tails! It turned out that the slide locks aren't holding the doors tight to the kennel face as expected. They seemed secure, but our clever pups figured it out! So, it’s a great crate that also looks nice, just know we’ll need to tweak the latch setup today!

The latches work really well and they have little grooves that they go into so you know when they’re fully engaged which has prevented my escape artist shelties from getting out of it. The top is wide enough and long enough to be functional for decorative items or whatever else you’d like to put up there. Overall it’s a quality piece and it’s going to last.
