Great upgrade from regular crates
My little princess really enjoys this penthouse crate. It took a bit to put together, but it’s worth it. The quality is solid, and it looks nice. The sliding door makes some noise, which can bother my pup since she’s a bit jumpy. I think the latch on the sliding door could be stronger, and a better locking mechanism would help too. I’m just waiting for my clever dog to figure out how to open it! Luckily, it has a latch at the bottom to stop the door from sliding open all the way, which is good.

Stylish and sturdy dog crate
I’m really happy with this crate! It’s spacious enough for my three small dogs and looks great in my home. I love the modern design and the height is. It was easy to put together, but a screwdriver or drill helps. With my minimal carpentry skills and ADHD, it took me a bit longer than expected, but it came together nicely. It's beautiful! A great buy that I highly recommend!

Perfect mix of style and function
I got this crate over a year ago for my Shiba Inu after she grew out of her puppy crate. It took her a day or so to get used to it, but it's been awesome! It blends nicely with our other furniture, and I love having the storage space on top for her toys, treats, and gear. Putting it together was easy, especially if you've done furniture assembly before. One of my favorite features is the front sliding door, which has both a regular metal latch and a barrel bolt lock. When she was younger, we used both locks to keep her in, but now we just use the metal latch, and she knows how to open it herself. It still feels sturdy after all this time, and cleaning it is a breeze. She only had one little accident early on, but once I took out her bed, it wiped down easily. I recommend this crate, but be sure to check that your dog fits well before you order!

Great space for our pup
We’re really happy with this kennel! It’s a bit larger than we expected for our 40-pound dog, which is since she has plenty of room to relax and even hangs half her body out sometimes. I put a bath mat inside for extra comfort, and that fits just right. It’s easy to clean, not that it gets too dirty—just the usual mess from her toys. The doors are simple to open and close. It looks great in our home too. Just a heads up, we don’t lock the doors, so I can’t say how well they would keep her in. I do worry she might chew through the bars since they’re not solid metal.

I got the kennel for my pup to grow into so it’s a little big right now but her bed fits great! It is not grey! The product photo shows a light grey but, trust the photos in the comments! It is more like a rustic grey brown. It matches my room perfectly. If you walked in my room you would probably think the room is a deep cool brown, no red or warm tones. Assembly was easy we build it same day. Couldn’t be more than 3 hours depending on how easy it is for you to assemble most things. (Sounds like a lot but times flies when your focused on a “big” project like this) The only issue we had was with the lock hinge on the sliding door. The hinges pre designated holes were the slightest bit too low I think and once we got the sliding door on we noticed the hinge was crooked and a little out of place so we couldn’t actually lock it. We unscrewed the hinge and fit it to the lock and then re screwed them in and it’s great. Overall a great product so far. I’m not the best at measuring but hopefully the pictures give you a good real life estimate of the size. It came with plenty of extra parts and even a really cool magnetic screwdriver that I’ll definitely be keeping forever. My dog has gotten bigger now and has occasionally scratched at the inside and it’s still in good condition. She did pee inside it (we don’t want her doing that but we didn’t realize she had to go and used it to go pee in the middle of the night. We have coyotes so we don’t really let her out to pee by herself.) thankfully? We have lots of blankets in there for her so that soaked it all up. Without any bedding the pee probably would have gotten into the crack for the sliding door and would have been hell to clean, if not stayed there forever. I think even a puppy pad would risk this, just something to consider if you do happen to be training your dog to pee in there. I have been using this nonstop without a coaster and it is holding up amazingly. No rings and there’s no raising of wood that you’ll see on certain woods. Overall good water resistance and scratch resistance.
