Once assembled the unit is sturdy and the size is perfect for kiddos, at first I was worried it was quite small but then I realized this is for my 2 year old to be able to reach her own toys and books, so it's actually the perfect height! It is made out of metal and wood, the stuffed animal zoo has thin elastic cords that make it easy for little ones to get to their favorite stuffy of the day, even if it's on the bottom of the stack. Assembly isn't bad there's just a few spots that get tedious. All in all this is an excellent choice!

Bought this for organizing the girls play room. Was hoping to turn 3 toy boxes into 2 at least. The unit itself is sturdy, anti tip straps included was a plus, too. Took me about an hour to put together myself. Love the bookshelf holds about 30 of their books. The stuffy cage didn't hold as much as I had hoped. Just meant had to go through & get rid of the older ones. I'm sure if you really tighten the stretchy strings you could pack more in. Overall cute addition & makes the tornado of a room look a bit more organized.
