Best Upgrade for My Sofa Bed!
We've had our queen sleeper sofa in the den for years, mainly for those unexpected guest nights. The original mattress was so uncomfortable with all those springs. After I fell ill and needed to stay off the stairs, my daughter suggested we replace the mattress, and I'm so glad we did! It's seriously as comfy, if not more so, than our expensive main mattress and adjustable bed. The bit of memory foam with gel works wonders to keep you cool too. I've tried it with and without a board between the mattress and the metal frame, and it was great either way—no feeling those metal poles at all. I heard that it takes a while for it to reach the right size, but the whole reason I got it for my sofa is to easily pull out the bed and sleep on it, then switch back to the sofa. Some sections seem to sink in while others stay firm. Still, it's an improvement over the spring mattress I used before.
