Sturdy set for small deck
We have our RV parked at a lake and have a small deck, about 11' x 13'. We put a 10 x 10 canopy over it, and everything fits nicely, even with a fire pit in the center. Some folks said assembly was tough, and I can see why if you're using the tiny allen wrench that comes with it. After struggling with a few screws, my husband grabbed his power screwdriver with an allen bit, and the whole set came together in about 30 - 45 minutes. That little wrench is just too small to handle easily. If you have a power tool, definitely use it; it's worth it. As for sturdiness, it's solid! When we put up the canopy, my husband stood on the arms of the chairs to secure it, and the chairs didn't budge at all. They easily supported his 180 lbs. I sprayed the cushions with waterproofing, but we always bring them in if rain is expected. The wicker frames have held up well outside, and the cushions have zippers for washing, but I haven't done that yet.
