I spent a couple of days searching for the right 4pc rattan patio set for my balcony. Even with the $39.99 delivery fee, Hawkins Woodshop had the best deal for this kind of set. I saw some mixed reviews, but I decided to give it a shot since it resembled my old one that needed replacing. It showed up fast—actually a day earlier than I expected. To my surprise, this set is so much better than what I had before. Putting it together was straightforward, even for me at 55 years old—I did it solo in about 2 hours. Just make sure to follow the steps in the instructions carefully, or the screws won’t line up right. I started with the Allen key and left the screws a bit loose until everything was aligned, then I tightened them up with a drill. Some reviews mentioned issues with the glass top, but mine fits perfectly, and it even comes with four suction cups as shown in my photos. The cushions are not only comfy but have the perfect thickness too. I love the little piping detail around the cushion, which my old set didn't have. I was pleased to get cream/off-white cushions instead of the beige ones mentioned in the description, and the charcoal glass top looks much nicer than clear. All the screws are hidden away nicely, which is a nice touch compared to other sets where they show. Plus, the rattan is double-sided, making it feel sturdy and well-made.
