Great cabinets worth it!
I've had three of these cabinets in a lighter finish for over 10 years, and while one finally wore out, the other two are still going strong. I just bought two in the darker shade and put them together in less than an hour with only a hammer to give them a gentle tap since I have some hand issues. I'm a 5'3" senior, and aside from that little tap and a step stool for height, it was simple to assemble. The shelves can be adjusted, and they're sturdy enough to hold a good amount of weight. They wipe clean easily, too. The plastic is really strong, and I had no trouble with putting them together. They're lightweight, which makes moving them around a breeze. They've provided storage for all sorts of items - from linens to paint supplies, brooms, and even my record collection. There's not a ton of choice for plastic cabinets right now. This one went together in less than 15 minutes by myself, and I didn't need any tools. A rubber mallet can be handy if you don’t want to use your hands to snap the pieces together, but it's not a must. It's moisture and rot resistant, so it's good for outdoor use or for a humid spot in an apartment.
