Excellent for mini stereos
Fairly easy to assembleVery sturdy. Perfect size for a "mini" stereo system. Holds any vintage turntable you have. However... Not wide enough to hold vintage receivers. Its only for mini amps,

Warning: Turntables and receivers are larger than they appear! (As pictured in the ad.)Actual shelf size: 15 x 13 inches. Don't be fooled by ai inserted miniature components shown in photo. Measure your equipment and read the specs and reviews! A typical stereo or surround receiver is about 17 inches wide (ref: Yamaha R-N600 and similar) and won't fit on any shelves but the top one, and it hangs out over the edges. If you have a typical "real" turntable (Technics, Audio Technica, etc.), it can sit on the top but will hang over the edges a little. Also, if you get the one without baskets, you do not get the metal reinforcement brackets shown in the picture. I worried about the shelf (made of mdf) being able to support anything heavy without a reinforcement bracket on the sides, but no worries because heavy equipment (like a receiver, amp, etc.) won't fit anyway! I kept it because I can find other things to put on it, but I'm still looking for an A/V Media stand that would hold the type of equipment pictured in this ad. It is cheap, after all, and of typical quality for flat pack type of furniture. It's light weight and easy to move around your house, and will probably hold an X-Box or small desktop type of amp / dac, etc. It goes together fairly easily if you've assembled this type of furniture without problems before. If not, then get a friend to help you.
