Definitely a step up from a regular kennel
I recently decided to upgrade my living room setup and I really wanted to get rid of the ugly metal wire cage that was taking up so much floor space. I picked up this rustic brown wooden dog kennel because it doubles as an end table and completely blends in with the rest of my furniture. When I started putting it together I was immediately impressed by the overall material used for the main panels. It feels incredibly premium and has a very nice finish that does not look cheap at all. The size is absolutely perfect for my larger dog giving him plenty of room to stretch out comfortably on the included cushion without feeling cramped while I am busy working. When it comes to daily use the sturdiness of this piece is completely outstanding. Even when my dog gets a little excited and shifts around inside the entire structure remains completely solid without any annoying wobbling or creaking. I genuinely appreciate the built in feeding station because having the bowls integrated right into the crate keeps my floors free of spilled water and scattered kibble. The durability of the wooden panels and the metal bars gives me total peace of mind that this will last for years. Securing the doors is incredibly easy thanks to the dual rotating latch locks and the locking mechanism feels extremely secure so I never have to worry about an unexpected escape while I am out running errands. Considering it functions as a beautiful piece of furniture and a cozy home for my pet the overall value for money is absolutely great. I highly recommend grabbing this if you want a stylish and practical upgrade for your home.

Good choice for small to medium sized dogs
This dog kennel is nice. The assembly instructions are pretty easy to follow but don’t give a lot of detail about board direction. Thankfully I didn’t have to redo any thing except one step. You should know as well that when assembling you are working from the top to the bottom. It does not tell you this in the assembly instructions, you will want to use a piece of the packing foam to work on top of to protect the table top. I didn’t not realize this and ended up with a couple scratches on mine. The dual bowls that rotate from outside to inside are nice since it gives your pet access to food or water at all times. The crate does come with a mat for your pets comfort, it’s not very thick though so upgrading isn’t a terrible idea. I had gotten this for my Australian shepherd but unfortunately it’s not quite big enough for him. He is on the bigger side. The large kennel would work well for dogs like cocker spaniels, boarder collies, large breed puppies, and smaller dogs.
