Two desks turned into household favorites!
I picked up two of these desks thinking I would combine them for a dual monitor workstation setup with my laptop. Putting them together was a breeze; both desks matched perfectly and came with extra fasteners just in case. A tip: don't over tighten the screws with a power tool, as the metal frame can bend a bit if you're not careful. At first glance, I thought they felt a bit light and thin compared to more heavy-duty options, but once they were assembled, I was pleasantly surprised. The surface is nice and smooth, not overly cheap or super premium—just decent. They feel sturdier than I anticipated for their weight and hold up fine under normal use. I wouldn't trust them with heavy gear long-term, though. The built-in outlets work great, and everything powered up with no issues. I’m not sure how well the surface will hold up to scratches since I haven’t tested it yet. The weight limit is about 220 lbs, so I'm not keen on putting much stress on it. In the end, I didn't use them for my workstation as planned; my wife loved them and claimed both. One is now for her purse and various household stuff, while the other has turned into a station for our dog's water. So now here I am, on the hunt for a new workstation!

Grabbed two for my setup, wife claimed them both
Ordered a pair of these desks to set up a dual monitor workstation with my laptop, but plans changed. Assembly went smooth—both came identical with no missing parts, and they even threw in extra screws just in case. One thing to watch during assembly is don't crank down the screws too hard with a power drill since the metal frame can bend if you overdo it. When I first got them out of the box, I was a bit unsure. They're pretty light and feel thinner than typical heavy-duty workstation desks. Once built though, the surface is smooth and sits somewhere in the middle—not cheap feeling, not premium either. For how light it is, the sturdiness is solid. Holds up fine for regular use and doesn't feel wobbly once everything's tight. I wouldn't load it up with heavy equipment long term, but for normal work it's fine. The built in outlets work great, no issues. One thing to know is the weight limit. At around 220lbs, I'm not comfortable putting my full weight on it or pushing it hard. Ended up not using them for my original workstation idea. My wife liked the way they looked—the wood and metal combo—so she took over both. One's her desk for keys, purse, water jugs, stuff like that. The other became our dog's water station. Guess I'm back to square one on the workstation front.

Great space for all my monitors
The desk arrived mostly in perfect shape, just a tiny chip on the underside of one of the wood panels, but that’s not an issue at all. Putting it together was pretty easy and straightforward. I have my desktop, a 34-inch widescreen monitor, and a 22-inch monitor set up, and there’s still plenty of room for another monitor if I decide to add one. The wood color is nice, and it looks sleek in my space. Overall, I’m pleased with this purchase.
