Solid Piece of "Furniture"
We love this! It is sturdy and heavy duty, and looks like a nice piece of furniture rather than a big wire dog crate sitting in the living room. The storage drawers are a great bonus, and our puppy took to it immediately. We aren't using the included dog bowl holder simply because we don't want spilled water inside the crate, but it's a nice option to have. We are just gloomy to use it at her feeding station. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

Good quality for the price
Really great product for the price! I’ll be honest, the only other few reviews at the time of writing this were most likely bots, so we took a chance on it. Turns out, it’s actually quite nice! Heavy but sturdy. The metal crate doors are solid and the wood panels hold weight well. It did unfortunately come with broken parts, however upon reaching out to Hawkins Woodshop, they quickly and promptly sent the replacement parts at no cost to me. I did have to retap screw holes as well which I shouldn’t have had to do in the first place, but after receiving the tool to do so, it was very simple. I do wish the drawers were a little deeper as it would have been possible, but the design of them was limiting. You can see it in my pictures and video here. We did also add a pad for the bottom as it’s just hard wood. All in all though, I’m actually really happy with it! It looks much nicer than a standard metal cage style dog crate and the addition of the drawers for food and treats is a plus. I like that the doors are fully metal too instead of metal and wood like many others on Hawkins Woodshop.
