The only downside is the two seams on the top since it comes in pieces, but that's just part of getting it at a lower price compared to solid options. I picked this because it fits my standing desk just right. Keep in mind that the leg measurements are different from the edges, especially since I have cord cutouts to consider. Height wasn't a huge factor for me, but I appreciate that it's taller than some other risers. I can fit my laptop and a pen holder underneath without making a mess on top.
