Great crate for my pup!
This crate is adorable and not too hard to put together, even solo. It came well-packaged, and everything was in good shape. The materials feel strong, and once it was built, it felt solid. I have a 75-80 lb lab and the 48” size is just right with some extra space. Just a tip for those training a puppy—extra room isn’t necessary yet! A few helpful tips: use blue painter's tape to keep the doors closed while you assemble it. They tend to swing while you’re trying to get things lined up. You can put on the locking hardware, but it’s easier after it’s all together. For the first step, you’ll need to prop the floor up a bit to line up the screws properly. I used the styrofoam from the box to help with that. Also, before you add the top, roll the crate on its side to attach the little feet; it makes it less heavy to move. I suggest putting the bigger crates together in the room you’ll use them in. They might be tough to get through doors once assembled. When adding the door locks, don't tighten them one by one—do them all first, and then tighten. It just makes it easier to align. One thing that puzzled me a bit was the floor being secured only by four screws; it felt a bit loose. There are also four screws in the floor with no real explanation in the directions. Overall, though, the crate is really cute and feels solid. I’d suggest it if you’re considering buying one!

This crate is super sturdy, made from solid wood and iron. I have a 95lb pitbull, and he has plenty of space in the 47-inch crate—he enjoys his little space. The fact that it opens from both the side and the front is handy. We can easily place his bowls inside without him bumping into anything—it's pretty spacious. It looks nice enough to blend in with our furniture, but I should mention the 47-inch size is quite big, so make sure you have enough room for it. Assembly took about an hour; my boyfriend and his friend had no trouble putting it together.

I was looking for a larger crate for my pitbull mix, but didn’t want a standard metal crate. I’m glad the bars are still metal on this and it works great to put anything on top. It was generally easy to put together, but there was a slight defect on the top wood piece that is slightly scratched/bent, but I’m okay with. Definitely worth the price!
