Fantastic Dog Crate!
This crate arrived really well packaged, and the assembly instructions were clear, almost like building with Legos! Just a heads up: make sure to check all the holes before you start screwing things together—I learned that the hard way when I realized I had a panel upside down and had to backtrack. I'm honestly quite impressed with how well-made and thoughtfully designed this crate is. The white color looks great, and it’s solid and heavy. The floor is designed so it's on the same level as the bars, which is for keeping hair and messes under control. The locking mechanism is simple to use, plus there's an extra set of spring locks on the inside of the door for added security—it seems like Houdini can't escape from this! Initially, I wasn't planning to use a kennel for the long haul, but my cocker spaniel had other ideas, so I ended up getting this one along with another. I'm happy with how it looks—check out the before and after! My cocker spaniel fits perfectly in the medium size, and my boxer has plenty of space in the XL. They even share the XL at night and nap separately during the day.

I have two medium-sized dogs that get kenneled during the day and sleep in their crates at night. Since these crates are in our small living room, they needed to look nice too. The crates from Hawkins Woodshop arrived well before the expected delivery date, which was a pleasant surprise. The boxes were really heavy but packed great. Everything was labeled, and they included extra parts and tools, which was a nice touch. Putting them together was a breeze, though an extra pair of hands could make it even easier. I've had other crates before, but this one feels like a high-quality product. They're sturdy and look good in our living space. Great kennel, just a few things to consider...
After writing my review below, I found a couple more latches that someone (won't name names) thought weren't needed. Turns out they were! This fixed the door issue for us! I’m giving it five stars, and I might grab a larger one if the pups grow bigger than we expect! It looks nice, is well-built, and fits our two 45 lb dogs comfortably (they love curling up together). Put it together pretty easily, and everything lined up perfectly the first time. Just a heads up, it weighs about 75 pounds when assembled, and you definitely need at least two people (we ended up with three). You could do it on the floor, but we laid it out on our bed for ease. It took two of us to lift it down after. It slides nice on the included feet. I’d recommend using some twine or long twist ties for the doors before setting it up, or they’ll be banging around every few minutes. Make sure you know which door you’ll use and how you want it to open. Now for the downside... While the dogs hopped right in and made themselves comfy, at 4:15 AM, we woke up to excited puppy kisses and a lot of tail wagging as they settled between us! We noticed when assembling that the slide locks didn't keep the doors tightly secured to the kennel face, but when we tugged on them, they didn’t open, so they seemed fine. It looks like our treat puzzles taught them more than we realized! Overall, great kennel, a nice addition to our home, but we’ll be upgrading the latch today!

This thing was packaged like a nice handbag with Lego level building instructions. Numbers on the bags and all the tools you need. Do yourself a favor and lineup all the holes before you start screwing. I realized far too late that I had a panel upside down and had to undo a lot of screws to correct it. Seriously impressed with the build and thoughtful design. The white is such a nice design option. This thing is heavy and well built. The floor is lifted to the same level as the bars which means less hair and junk will get stuck in the kennel. The locking mechanism is easy to close and even features an extra set of spring locks on the inside of the door that allows it to open on both sides. I can’t imagine any houdinis making their way out of this thing. I wasn’t planning on using a kennel long term but my cocker spaniel had other plans so I finally broke down and bought a couple nice kennels. So glad I did. Love the look, check out the before and after, so much better! My cocker spaniel fits in the medium sized kennel and my boxer fits in the xl with plenty of room. They sleep in the xl together at night and separately during the day.

High-Quality, Attractive Crate That Was So Easy to Set Up!
I ordered the 42-inch crate for my new puppy and it has exceeded all my expectations. It was sturdy right out of the box, high-quality. Assembly was incredibly easy and straightforward.
