Great Dog Crate!
This crate showed up really well-packaged, kind of like getting a nice bag, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Just make sure to align all the holes first; I didn’t and ended up having to undo a bunch of screws because I flipped a panel! I'm impressed with how solidly it's built, and the design is thoughtful. The white finish is such a nice touch too. It’s heavy and feels sturdy. I love that the floor is level with the bars, which means less fur and debris will get caught inside. The locking mechanism works smoothly and even has an extra set of spring locks inside, so there's no way a clever pup is getting out of there. I wasn't planning on keeping a kennel for a long time, but my cocker spaniel had different ideas, so I decided to get these nice crates. I'm happy with my choice—the look is so much better than before! My cocker spaniel fits great in the medium size, and my boxer has lots of space in the XL. They even sleep in the XL together at night and have their own spaces during the day.

Solid kennel with a couple of quirks
I found this kennel to be a great buy! After putting it together, I discovered two latches that someone (who shall remain nameless) thought were unnecessary, but they definitely made a difference in securing the door! It's a sturdy construction that looks nice and is spacious enough for our two 45 lb dogs, who love to curl up together. The assembly was straightforward, and everything fit well on the first try. Just a couple of things to keep in mind: it’s pretty heavy at about 75 pounds, so you’ll need at least two people to manage it—three was for us. We assembled it on our bed, which made it easier than trying to get up from the floor! It slides nicely with the feet included, but I recommend using some twine or twist ties to keep the doors quiet during assembly. Plus, decide ahead of time which door you want to use and how it should open. Now, the downside: while our dogs quickly settled in, we learned that the slide locks don't keep the doors tight against the kennel, so we ended up with a bit of a surprise at 4:15 AM with some excited puppy kisses! It's a lovely piece of furniture for us, but we'll need to tweak the latch system today!

Great kennel, except...
After writing the review below, I found two additional latches that someone whom I won’t name, did not tnink were necessary. They were! Door problem solved!!! Five stars and I may buy the bigger one if the grow bigger than we think they will!!! Looks great, solid construction, big enough for two 45 lb. Dogs (who are very bonded and sleep on top of each other, but still there is room for them both), went together easily and everything lined up first try. However... A few things to know - it weights about 75 pounds assembled, and you definitely need 2 people to do it (we had three). While you could do it sitting on the floor (if you are young enough to get back up off the floor, which we are not!), we cut off the top of the box, laid in on the bed, and assembled it there which also worked well. Took two adults to lift it down when done. Slides well on included feet. Strongly suggest that you use some twine or long twist ties on the doors before assembly or else they will be banging in the head every 2 minutes. And know which door you want to use, and which end and way you want it to open. Now the bad news... While the dogs went in no problems, rearranged the bedding to suit and settle right down, and 4:15 in the morning we were woke by excited puppy kisses and deadly tail beating and they settle down between us on the bed. We realized when we put it together that the slide locks did not hold the doors tightly to the face of the kennel, but we tugged on them and they did not open or release the doors so they appeared secure. It appears though that all those treat puzzles we give them taught them more than we thought! So great crate, nice looking furniture piece, but we will be modifying the latch today!
