We've got three of these kennels now and they're great for our big dogs. They're built to last, simple to wipe down, and having the choice between three door positions means you can fit it just about anywhere. When we first got ours, one small piece wasn't in the box. I got this for my puppy after her spay surgery because watching her try to move around in her regular crate with a cone on broke my heart. I have a 55lb Amstaff mix and this thing is huge - honestly I could fit two dogs her size in here without any problem. The color looks really nice too. Assembly is straightforward and doesn't take long. It's a permanent piece of furniture, so don't expect to move it around much, but it looks nice enough to leave out in the living room. My roommate jokes that it's my dog's apartment. Fair warning though - my pup is already well trained for the crate. If you have a dog that likes to escape, this might not be your best bet. The latch is solid quality but there's no extra lock, so a determined dog can probably work the door open. Also make sure your dog is housetrained before getting this. The crate is well made and supposedly waterproof for accidents, but it's not designed to come apart easily so cleaning the inside thoroughly could be tough. That said, if your dog is already crate trained and housetrained, I'd go for this if you want something spacious and comfortable for them.

Nice looking kennel with tons of space, works well for a big dog like mine. Only thing is the side door latches seem flimsy and mine fell off or got lost during shipping. The doors don't open and close like they should because of that, so i just keep them shut. Not really an issue for how i use it, but wanted to mention it in case someone actually needs those doors to work.

It’s more of a furniture piece, so it’s on the larger side, and I wouldn’t plan on moving it around much, but it looks nice enough to keep out in the open. My friends refer to it as my puppy’s ‘apartment.’ Just to be clear, my dog is pretty well crate trained. If you have a pup that tends to escape, this might not be the best crate for you since the latch, while sturdy, doesn’t have a secondary lock. A determined dog could get it open easily. Also, I’d recommend that your pup is house trained. While the crate claims to be waterproof for accidents, it’s not designed to disassemble easily for cleaning in all the tight spots where messes might happen. Overall, if your dog is used to the crate and house trained, I’d recommend this crate for its space and comfort.
