I'd never seen a furniture-style dog crate before this one. Way better looking than those wire crates—it actually fits in with the rest of the room. The build quality is solid, the particle board feels dense, and all the hardware is substantial. Putting it together was straightforward. One issue came up though—a corner insert for the foot screws was missing from my box. I wasn't sure how to get it replaced, but I emailed Colby with some photos and they sent the part right out. Installation was simple and it fit perfectly. Colby also followed up a few times to make sure everything arrived okay and worked. That kind of service made a real difference. This piece is really nice looking and holds up well. My 110 lb Rottweiler fits in it comfortably even though it's taller with a smaller footprint than the collapsible 48" crate. Definitely worth it if you have the right pup
I got this crate because I felt bad watching my puppy struggle with her donut after her spay. Just to give you an idea, I have a 55lb Amstaff mix. It’s really roomy—if I got another dog similar in size, they’d fit in there comfortably without a problem. The color is nice, too. Assembly was pretty straightforward and didn’t take long. It’s more like a piece of furniture, so don’t expect to move it around a lot since it’s large, but it looks good enough to keep out in the open. My friends call it my puppy’s ‘apartment’. Now, just as a heads up, my puppy is well crate trained. If yours tends to get out, this might not be the best choice, as the latch is decent but doesn’t have a secondary lock. A determined pup could get it open easily. Also, make sure your dog is at least somewhat house trained; even though it’s well-made and says it’s waterproof for accidents, you won’t be able to take it apart easily to clean all the nooks. That said, if your pup is crate trained and housebroken, I’d recommend this crate for its space and comfort.

Sturdy and Pretty
This thing is really solid. It looks way better than those flimsy cheap crates you see everywhere, and it's built tough enough that our beagle can't claw her way out of it lol. She's basically a little escape artist but this one stumps her. Plenty of room inside for both our beagle and small pit to be comfortable.

Straightforward assembly with some quirks
It took me around 2 hours to assemble this kennel, but it was pretty simple overall. The instructions were clear, and I liked the included tools. A couple of downsides: the doors on the long sides can only swing to the right, and the hex head screens could be made a bit deeper to avoid rounding out the holes. It looks great with our other furniture, and our 2-year-old golden has lots of space.
