Updated!! Amazing But for One Major Issue - (resolved)
Update: 7/23/26 --- incredible service, solid product. Anyone buying on Hawkins Woodshop has been ghosted by a Hawkins Woodshop before. That was not the case here. Hawkins Woodshop worked with me to trouble shoot a few things, and when that didn't work they sent me a new desk. Incredible. It's been 3 months and I work full time from this desk. I enjoy the large changes, the small tweaks, the stability. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it. There is a slight lip in the middle of the desk where the two pieces meet but it is rarely an issue. And if it ever became one, a little desk mat would solve it easily.----------update: 4/27/26 --- Hawkins Woodshop has responded and seems interested in helping so that's a good start. Hopefully we can get the product issue figured out and that would make the service+product an easy 5 star review.... We'll see, more updates coming!----------original: I really like this desk. It is a great size, sturdy. Assembly was easy. Price/would be great if not for a glaring problem. The problem is when lowering the desk from standing position to sitting position it makes an ear piercing squeeling sound. It isn't from the motor, but the leg opposite the motor. And it doesn't happen with minor adjustments, just when making that big adjustment... Which is a big deal since that is the primary thing I want to be able to do. I've reached out to support but have yet to get a response. Will keep you updated.
