The shelves are dense steel wire mesh rather than solid panels, and that choice earns its keep in a bathroom. Water and dust pass straight through instead of pooling, and the tight grid stops small things like nail clippers, spice jars, or seed packets from sliding off an edge. Each shelf carries a static load of up to 22 pounds, which covers a full stack of folded towels or a row of cleaning bottles. The whole unit weighs 7.3 pounds, so pulling it out to sweep behind it is a one-hand job.
All five shelves move. The frame is drilled at intervals so you can set the spacing to match what you actually own, whether that means tall detergent jugs on the bottom and short jars above, or a mix of potted plants at different heights. One tip from the maker, and it matters: keep the holes on the frame level for each tier while you assemble, or the shelf will sit crooked. If one rack is not enough, the design is meant to extend, so a second or third unit lines up alongside the first for a continuous run of shelving as long as your wall allows.
Stability comes from three parts working together. The steel frame is the base of it, four adjustable feet handle floors that are not quite level, and an included anti-tip kit anchors the rack, which matters at this height.
