I really enjoy this desk! It was straightforward to put together and looks nice while being functional. I do wish it were a bit larger, but I'm happy with it overall.

Sturdy and Lightweight Desks for Home Office
I was able to put both of these 39” desks together in about half an hour. I went with two to give myself some extra space for my dual workstations. They arrived in separate packages, all well-packed and in great shape, with everything I needed to assemble them included. The white wood has a nice oak pattern, though it’s laminate over manufactured wood, which makes for nice-looking, affordable desks. Just a heads up, the riser shelf is only 7” wide. I’ll probably pick up a wider live edge board to attach on top so I can stabilize my Samsung monitors better.

Decent Desk, but the Drawers Have a Strong Smell
I had a decent experience with this desk. The assembly was easier than I expected, especially since I laid out all the pieces first, which saved me some searching time. However, the odor from the fabric drawers is pretty overwhelming. Even a few days after setting it up, the smell is still strong enough to give me a headache while I'm working. I tried airing them out, but it's not really fading yet. On the bright side, I appreciated Colby's quick replies when I reached out about this issue, and they offered to help. I'm hoping the smell goes away over time because overall, the desk is fine for the price.

Great for Small Spaces
This is definitely on the smaller side, and I got a bit confused by the directions once, but overall it was pretty easy to put together and I'm happy with it! I have a laptop lift, and since the front area is smaller, it barely fits a keyboard in front of it. The lights are a nice touch, and assembly took me about an hour and a half.

Fine Desk, Drawers smell like chemical death
Update: the sellers reached out to compensate me for the inconvenience, which I really appreciated. I do have to say the smell has faded, too. It's still a little noticeable but I think it should be okay with time. I did really appreciate the communication from them. This desk comes with a piece for nearly every letter of the alphabet but it's actually pretty simple to put together, especially if you pull all the pieces out in advance so you don't have to hunt for them. I the monitor 2nd level ends up limiting your workspace if you're doing anything with screens, but it's fine-good for the price. The real issue is the smell. I never notice or find myself bothered by funky off gassing of factory smells. I feel like that's feedback I read in product reviews a lot but never experience. Normally if something smells it doesn't bother me and fades soon. But I put this desk together a few days ago and the fabric drawers are still knocking me back. Sitting here typing this I have a headache from the scent - it's wild - I tried leaving them outside, leaving them by our gas fire place - it's still so so strong. My fingers are crossed it fades, but right now the smell of the fabric drawers is making the whole desk seem hideous.
