Sturdy, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
These 54” crates are great (I purchased two). The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow, all parts/tools were included, and once assembled they are sturdy. They are quite large, which gives my labs plenty of space for resting/sleeping, but know that you won’t easily be moving them from room to room or traveling with them. Also note that the interior dimensions do not allow for purchasing a regular sized dog/crate bed, so I purchased pre-cut foam pads off Hawkins Woodshop and used crib sheets to cover them. I love the functionality of the front door which can be opened in two different levels. A smaller section opens - perfect for letting your dog in/out - and rests flat against the front of the crate. An added section of the front can also be opened - making cleaning the bedding and/or crate - very easy, and this folds flat against the front and around the corner of the crate. I appreciate that the door isn’t hanging out in the foot traffic area, waiting to catch on legs or clothing. I would definitely recommend these for an aesthetically pleasing space for large dogs!

Nice giant furniture style crate
This crate is perfect if you are looking for a nice looking and sturdy crate for a giant dog. My Great Dane fits easily and has room to stand. The crate wasn’t too hard to assemble. It’s not at all portable, so assemble it in the room where you want to use it.

Large and mostly well made
This crate works well for my Malemute/Husky/Germ Shep. Shes a big girl and needs space and this xl crate provides that. Its well made -for the most part (I'll get to that in a minute) - and will likely last her lifetime. Sturdy, safe, and well fabricated. I was able to put this together solo but it definitely takes two to move. My gripes with this are small, but notable: the Oriental of the doors, how they open, is *not* correctable - meaning they only open in one crate orientation. Simple drilling a few extra holes would allow me to flip the door to change whether it opens right handed or left. So iny case i removed the door as its just for her to sleep in, not stay confined in - buts its a simple design thing to consider.

This crate is perfect and huge! Perfect Christmas gift for my 102 lbs German Shepherd. When it was delivered our delivery guy carried it like it was nothing, but bringing it into the house took two people. I think it’s a good thing though since I interpret it as you really getting your bang for your buck (Warning label states that the package is over 70 lbs). Assembly definitely takes about an hour or less if you pay close attention to the instructions (we messed up a few times so we had to undo certain parts). I personally feel like it’s worth the money; it has this timeless look to it and can actually be used as more than just an ugly cage for your fur baby. We’re in the process of buying a bed that fits nicely into it. It latches nicely and our boy took to it immediately! Unlike the other crates we’ve gotten him.

Great dog house! We are using it for three dogs, two small and one large. Honestly, we could add another dog in there, it’s that big! Are three dogs all like to be together however we felt bad that even the larger crate we had before they seem cramped. This was the perfect solution! Easy to put together, however you do need to have two people just due to the size. Also, it’s not going to be fitting through any door frames so build it in the room you plan to use it. The only issue we had was if you plan to use this with small dogs the slots are kind of big and potentially they could get their nose and/or head stuck in them. Easy solution I bought plastic chicken wire meshing and covered it up so they cannot get their faces in the slots. Dogs love it. It’s aesthetically pleasing win-win. Very happy!!

Well made, heavy, but easy to clean and perfect for my pets.
This is a heavy piece of furniture. It takes more than one person to put this together and it takes awhile but we are really looking leased with the results. It holds two 60 and 65 pound Golden Doodles easily with plenty of room to move around. The gates work very well; I particularly like the split folding gate. I put felt pads on the bottom of the feet and this is so easy to move around my wood floors to clean. The inside is very easy to clean as well. My only complaint is the two wood pegs holding the two boards together; one set as the floor and one set for the top. These boards are heavy and the wood pegs snapped easily. I replaced them with metal pegs and that works very well. Overall, we are very pleased.
