A Great Choice If You're Careful
I was hesitant about this product after seeing some negative reviews about breakage during assembly, but I’m glad I gave it a shot. I think it just requires some care with the parts. There are a couple of boards for the back that feel a bit fragile, so I recommend laying everything out before you start putting it together. It can take some time, especially if you're new to assembly, but it’s pretty spacious and seems like it can hold a lot of toys. For what you get, the price feels fair. It's not super heavy, but the wood quality is solid enough that it has a nice weight to it. Overall, it looks and should help me keep the toys organized.

This shelf is really well designed and came packaged great to prevent any damage. The box had a few dents when it arrived, but the shelf itself was in shape. It took us from 9:00 pm to 11:30 pm to get it done. Just a tip—make sure you’re at least a bit smarter than the item you’re putting together, which we found challenging! It anchored to the wall without issues and feels sturdy. It’s exactly what we were looking for. Happy with our buy.

Solid construction
This thing is really heavy and pretty well made. You can set it up by yourself without too much trouble, but some of the screws can be a bit annoying. If you're using a small screwdriver, it might drive you crazy. I'd recommend using an electric drill or a ratcheting screwdriver for sure.

This shelf is awesome! I almost wish I could give it more than 5 stars. First off, the packing was great. My shelf came all the way across the country and was wrapped up well with thick foam, so nothing got damaged. Now, about the quality—this isn't some flimsy shelf. The boards are pretty sturdy, and the paint job looks, so I know it can handle a toddler's wear and tear. As for putting it together, don't be scared off by other reviews. I put it together solo in about 3 hours. I recommend using an electric screwdriver if you have one; it makes it easier on your hands. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The size is just right for little kids, too. It's a great height and holds a good amount of stuff. Plus, the sliding bookshelf is a nice feature!

An Amazing product if you know what you’re doing.
Great product, I almost returned this after seeing that the reviews were coming in bad about how it was breaking when being built but I really think all it takes is being careful with the pieces, there is a couple boards that go in the back, that are a bit fragile so I do suggest laying out all the parts before building, does take a while to build especially if you’ve never built anything before. It’s quite roomy and looks to hold a lot of toys. For the quality of the product i do think the price was okay, it isn’t super heavy but the wood isn’t bad quality so it has some good weight. All in all it looks great and should work great to organize toys.

Holds a lot, heavy, looks great too
This item arrived unexpectedly quickly and thank god it did because I couldn't have gotten this in the house by myself. It's very heavy. It took maybe 3 hours to assemble by myself. 2.5 hours of that was with just a screwdriver. I ended up switching to a screw gun because my hand was hurting. It wasn't difficult at all to assemble. The instructions were clear and everything was clearly labeled. It probably would have been faster to put together had I had a screw gun the whole time. It feels sturdy. The wheels on the drawers work pretty good on carpet. Another review had mentioned the drawers being deceptively shallow and they definitely are. The sides are only half the height of the front panel. However, I was able to stack stuff higher than the sides and still push the drawer in so it didn't interfere with my needs. The cubbies look a lot bigger in the listing than they do in person. After putting it together I was concerned I wouldn't be able to fit much, but it actually holds quite a bit more than I thought. The plastic bins it came with are the same size as the bins from other toy shelves I have which worked out great for me because I was able to use them to increase this unit's storage capacity. The shelves are as deep as the bins long side. The inner shelves are about the same depth as the plastic bins short side so if you have more like I did you can use them there as well and the book shelf will still move. This shelf definitely needs to be anchored to the wall. I know sometimes people will skip that step because the item doesn't look like it'll fall over. This can get very front heavy because of the bookcase and the depth isn't wide enough to counter that. It could easily get pulled over and even wobbles a bit on carpet.

This shelf is very well thought out and designed, and was packaged amazingly to avoid damage. The outer box itself when we received it had a few puncture holes but the shelf was completely fine. It took us 9:00 pm to 11:30pm to complete. Remember, you need to be 10% smarter than the object you’re working with and we were not haha. It anchored to the wall so easily and is sturdy.
