Nice desk with a few issues
This desk is solid and has a nice appearance. The materials seem pretty decent for what you pay. It's straightforward to put together, and the instructions are clear; just make sure you have a drill or screwdriver ready. My only complaint is that when the desk arrived, the top came in two pieces, which was fine, but the pre-drilled holes for the dowels were off, making the desk sit unevenly by about a quarter of an inch on each side. Overall, it’s a good desk, but I ended up with a bit of a cosmetic issue. **UPDATE:** Hawkins Woodshop contacted me just two days after my review. They offered to send me a new desk at no extra cost while letting me keep the old one. The replacement came in perfect condition, and everything fit together well. Colby was apologetic and helpful, truly top-notch customer service. You don’t see that often!
