Beautiful Mid-Century Record Stand That Looks Much More Expensive Than It Is
The *ironck 55" Mid-Century Modern Record Player Stand with Charging Station* is a beautiful piece of furniture that is perfect for any record enthusiast. The classic finish blends well with a variety of décor styles, and once I got it loaded with my albums, it transformed my cluttered stack of records into an organized display I'm proud to show off - with room to spare (which simply means I have an excuse to buy more records!). I also appreciate how handy it is to have the power strip right there on the cabinet where I need it! Assembly took me about four hours at a relaxed pace. I prefer taking my time to make sure everything is done correctly, and the instructions made that easy. The diagrams are large, clear, and easy to follow. I found that lining each piece up exactly as shown in the illustrations made the process very straightforward. I used an electric drill whenever possible, which definitely sped things up, but everything needed for assembly is included. The supplied screwdriver is actually very good quality and came in handy for installing the cam locks and attaching the metal wire record supports where my drill couldn't reach. I've assembled quite a bit of furniture over the years, and one tip I'd offer is to make sure the cam bolts are inserted straight and not overtightened. They need to engage properly with the cam locks, and overtightening can prevent them from locking securely. Taking a little extra care during this step results in a sturdy finished cabinet. If you're looking for an affordable record cabinet that looks like it cost considerably more than it actually did, I highly recommend this one. It offers great storage, attractive styling, solid construction, and is an easy 5-star recommendation from me.
