Love This Desk!
I wish I could give this more than five stars! I'm really happy with it. I needed a deeper desk for my keyboard, and this one is just right. The metal and the top feel solid and look great. The outlets work perfectly without any heating issues. I loved it so much that I bought a second desk to create an L shape setup! I've got a 48" and a 63", both 24" deep, and they hold all my gear, including my mic and headset for podcasting (not pictured). No wobbling at all! I put them together myself; the instructions were clear, the pieces were organized, and they even included all the tools.

Great Table for My Home Office
I purchased the Rustic Brown 54” table to swap out a folding table I was using as my desk. It’s super sturdy and well-constructed, and I like the built-in power strip at the corner. The dark brown finish looks beautiful and elegant. I didn’t run into any problems with the assembly instructions or materials. Just make sure to follow the clear steps and don’t tighten the screws all the way until the end, and everything will fit well. I’m an older woman and managed to put it together by myself, but I think having a second person would make it easier. I'm pleased with my purchase and recommend it!

Awesome Desk Choice
I'm really happy with my decision to get this desk for my home office. I'm not the best at putting things together, but the directions were pretty straightforward (and as a technical writer, I know how to judge that). I did have a little hiccup with alignment at the end, but that was just because I had one piece upside down, which was easy to fix. The instructions wisely advise not to tighten everything until you've got it all together, which made a big difference. It's sturdy, the rustic finish looks great, and even though the box was a bit banged up, everything was in shape. I recommend this desk; you get a lot for the price.

We recently moved my wife's office into our RV and needed a desk that fit snugly where a sofa used to be. We checked out several options around 70 inches and settled on this one because we liked the color and the price. When it arrived, the packaging looked a bit rough, so I took some pictures of the dents and tears just in case. After a quick glance, I saw no damage to the desk itself. The assembly was a pleasant surprise—Hawkins Woodshop really thought of everything, providing all the necessary tools like a soft-faced mallet to help put the frame together. They even included extra hardware, which is handy. I've assembled a lot of furniture before and it’s common to lose or damage small parts. Unfortunately, after putting it all together, I found a noticeable scratch on the desktop near the front edge, and I couldn't rotate the section to hide it. I reached out to Colby about getting a replacement part, and instead, they offered me a refund, which was beyond my expectations. I sent them pictures of the damaged packaging that it came in. I’m giving them 5 stars for the desk and the thoughtful assembly process, along with 5 stars for their customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Hawkins Woodshop again!

Sturdy and easy to assemble
I've been using this desk for a few months now and I really like it! It was simple to put together and feels quite sturdy. I got a large desk pad to keep the surface scratch-free. It easily holds three big monitors—two horizontal and one vertical. The power source works great too. I think it was worth the price and gives me enough workspace for a good while.

So, we were moving my wife's office out into our rv and needed a desk that would fit into the width of one of the sides that previously had a sofa in it. We found a number of ~70" options that would just fit inside that space, including this one. We liked the color and price of this unit so went with it. It arrived on the front door step and the packaging was looking a little worse for wear so, having been through this before, I took a number of pictures of the dents and dinge and rips. After a cursory inspection there didn't spear to be any damage to the desk itself so I went about the assembly and I gotta say, I love the thought and effort put into the parts and process here. They included every tool you would possibly need for the assembly, even including a soft faced mallet for forcing together the top horizontal frame parts. On top of that they provided at least an extra part for all of the hardware. I have put together enough of these types of units to understand that, invariably, you will damage a bolt thread during installation or lose a nut under the furniture (or down a vent). To provide an extra part is a simple, but very helpful feature. Unfortunately, after getting this fully assembled with me being under it most of the time, I stood up to check out my handy work only to find a significant scratch on the desktop, close to the front edge and on the opposite side of the desk section with power outlet hole. Which meant that I could not simply turn that section around to try to hide the scratch in the back. I reached out to Hawkins Woodshop to see if it might be possible to get a replacement section and they came back with "No, but we will give you a refund!" This was more than I was looking for, or hoped for, but was very appreciative and sent them the pictures of the battered box after it had arrived. I would absolutely give them 5 stars for the desk itself and the way they handled the parts and tools for assembly, but I also have to give them 5 stars for their customer service. I would absolutely buy from this Hawkins Woodshop again having confidence in the unit itself as well as their willingness to stand behind their sales!
