I can’t begin to express just how gorgeous this piece of furniture is! I purchased the blue one & its hue is absolutely stunning!! The bright & unique tone of the gold door pulls & feet, especially against the blue, really catches the eye. It’s the difference between 10K gold & 24K gold, as compared to other gold toned accents. One clearly outshines the other, with these accents represented by the 24K. This sideboard holds so much, I was truly surprised. On one side I’ve stored kitchen gadgets that I don’t utilize on a daily basis but want to have close by - rice cooker, air fryer, George Forman grill, empanada press, extra summer pitchers, etc. On the other side I’m presently storing extra sheets, blankets & towels bc I live in a studio apt & storage space is at a premium! The doors themselves are the slow, quiet close kind, which I wasn’t expecting at all. Small detail I love. Assembly is quick but you have to be really observant of the images to insure proper orientation & correct placement, especially of the wood dowels in the pieces that make up the sides & center separator for the 2 compartments. This is one of the beginning steps. The dowels go in the center, not the corners. It even came with a nice sized, not flimsy, screwdriver! Yes, you read that correctly. How thoughtful is that?! I assembled it on my own (62 yo female) but would’ve gone much easier & quicker w/2 people. You also run the risk of breaking & thus ruining the piece during assembly if you chance it alone & it’s your 1st time assembling furniture - fair warning! Otherwise, it’s fairly simple to put together. The piece is sturdy & doesn’t look cheap at all. Definitely worth the price which isn’t expensive either. It’s a great value for the money & I consider it money well spent. You should also insure to assemble in place you want it located & purchase furniture slides at the same time, if you’re inclined to move furniture around from time to time. It’s heavy once assembled & you could scratch your floors if you have hardwood floors or be unable to move it on carpets. I ordered 1 or 2” sliders (don’t recall which) & slipped the sliders underneath, as soon as I had the pice upright, before complete assembly - while it was still lightweight. I ordered a slightly smaller black one with 3 drawers & 2 doors, for the closet to store clothing. I will move the sheets, towels & blankets there once that is assembled. I am absolutely thrilled w/this purchase & can’t stop admiring its beauty whenever I walk by. I highly recommend this great piece for its function, value & show stopping presence!!
