Great futon mattress
I’ve been using this futon mattress in my home office for a few months now, and I’m really happy with it. It's comfy! One side is firm while the other is soft, just like they said. It was delivered nicely vacuum packed and fluffed up within about a day. The cover is soft, kind of like a knit jersey, and it's removable and washable. It's thick enough, and the firm side is just right for those who don’t want a mattress that’s overly soft.

Great futon mattress for the price
I’m really happy with this purchase. The mattress is quite firm, so if you prefer something softer, you might want to add a topper for comfort. It inflated perfectly within three days. I had tried some cheaper options before, but they just didn't do the job. The split foam design fits nicely on my futon frame and gives it a nice look.

I was really hoping to find a replacement cover for my futon mattress from Hawkins Woodshop, but unfortunately, they don’t seem to offer that option. My cover got damaged thanks to my dog shortly after I bought it. Just a heads-up for anyone needing a replacement cover—Hawkins Woodshop probably won’t be able to help you there. Update: I reached out to Hawkins Woodshop customer service regarding my issue, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by their responsiveness! They’ve replaced my damaged cover, which was great. I picked the futon mattress because it looked nice and unique compared to others I saw. Once I let it expand for a couple of days, it turned out to be the most comfortable futon I’ve ever used. Plus, having it shipped compressed made it a snap to get it upstairs. I also love that the cover is removable and washable—such a big deal for me. And it was priced well, so I’m happy with my purchase overall!

Great for bottom bunk futon
