Measurements Off, But Hawkins Woodshop Took Care of It
I found that the actual dimensions weren't what was stated. After letting it expand for a week, it turned out to be 74" long instead of 80", the width was actually 53.5" instead of 60", and the height was just 5" and not 6". If I had known these true sizes, I might have picked a different fold-out bed. On the plus side, it's pretty comfortable, nice and firm. The corduroy fabric does tend to get a bit warm while sleeping compared to other materials. Overall, I'm happy with the comfort, but those misleading measurements were frustrating. On a positive note, Hawkins Woodshop addressed the issue! They acknowledged that they entered the wrong sizes in the description and even provided me with a credit for the bed. So I'm adjusting my rating up!

I'm really glad I decided to buy this instead of messing around with air mattresses! It cost a bit more than I wanted to spend, but it's been worth it. Since I need to sleep close to my mom's room due to her health, I've gone through three air mattresses and was so frustrated! I had no idea they made these so thick! I'm on the heavier side and have some hip and knee issues, but this 6" model keeps me off the floor just right. At first, I worried it might be too soft, but it’s actually firm enough for good support. The only downside is that, after two weeks and using a hairdryer, it still hasn't fluffed up to the full 6"—it’s just under 5" now (see pic). I'm so glad I chose this 6" instead of the 4" because I think that would be too small for me. Plus, there’s enough room to snuggle my kids if I need to. I can even fold it up and use it as a bench or a spot for blankets and pillows. The cover is soft and seems pretty tough so far. Another cool feature is the no-slip bottom; it stays put! My old air mattress would slide around, but this one doesn't budge at all. Highly recommend it! It had a slight smell at first, but that went away pretty fast.

This item turned out to be everything I wanted and more. The cover feels soft and cozy, and there’s enough padding for a comfortable night's sleep, even on the floor. Queen sized sheets fit queen sized mattress
Summary:I placed an order for a queen-sized mattress for my living quarters in my horse trailer. The mattress does come completely compressed and you will need to follow the instructions to unpack and expand the mattress. There may be a slight odor as your mattress expands, which is totally normal and not overpowering. After a few weeks, my mattress did not expand as expected. Hawkins Woodshop provided exceptional customer service in making things right and I'm completely satisfied with the level of service and the product. The mattress itself comes in three separate cushions. Each cushion is in its own separate zippered compartments of one large cover. I like this because it means the cushions won't separate and push away while you sleep. The cover is a very nice, soft, velvety feeling which feels nice against the skin. I chose to buy queen sized satin sheets to protect the cover when sleeping. Make sure to buy a fitted sheet that has full elastic all around, as this makes it easier to tuck and fit to the height of the mattress. It's way cheaper than buying a special set of sheets because you don't have to worry that the pockets may be too deep. The mattress was very firm at first but has softened a bit after a couple of weeks. It does compress if you stand or sit on it but bounces back into shape perfectly. When sleeping, it does provide the right amount of comfort and support for me, as I do not like an overly soft mattress or one that is hard as a brick. If you find the mattress is still too firm after a couple of weeks, you may want to purchase a mattress toper to make it more like a pillow top. Be aware that the measurements of your fully expanded product may vary.
