As stated in other reviews - this is a heavy piece of furniture! It feels more substantial- not your dorm room/ 1st apt junk. Husband assembled it easily, following the directions. There are no cable ports on the back panel so you will need to drill those out - not unexpected simce it is a sideboard. We didn't mind as we could put them where we wanted them. Very pleased with our purchase!
