I really like this desk! It does require quite a bit of effort to assemble, but it's worth it for the price. We finished it in one night, though I’ll admit my ADHD made it a bit of a challenge! You'll want a partner for some of the assembly parts.

I’m really happy with this desk! I almost went for a similar one that was around $2000, but then I found this one and saw all the good reviews. I knew it would take 4 to 5 hours to put together, but the savings of about $600-$700 made it worth it in my mind. And I'm glad I went for it! It looks great and works well— the drawers and shelves are nice. I do have an idea for the back; if they added the fluted panels there, it would look even better and cover the seams you can see in my picture. I’m thinking about getting a slatted wood panel to stick on there myself. Be prepared, though—it does take a good chunk of time to assemble. We had a tiny argument when we decided to open some wine while building it, but overall, it was a fun project. Just make sure you put it together in the spot you want it because it’s heavy. I'd recommend this for the price; I’m using it as my work desk and vanity!
