Looks way more expensive than it was
This is a gorgeous addition to any room, seriously! It's surprisingly light, which made setting it up a breeze. Plus, it feels super solid once it's all together. I'm really impressed with how well it's made. Definitely a great find!

Every piece really is solid wood!
It's hard to find things made of real, solid wood these days, and this tv stand is the exception. Each and every piece is completely solid wood - not just the front facing pieces or trim as in some furniture. The screws were a little difficult to get started sometimes, and I had to jiggle and retry until they went in. Do not force them! I had particular trouble starting two of the screws, but there was one extra and the other one went in okay by trying it in a different spot. It took about 45 minutes to assemble, and wasn't a problem to do it alone though it says it takes two people. Don't completely follow the instruction that says not to tighten any screws until the end - you have to tighten the legs onto the short cross pieces before you attach them to the top shelf or you won't be able to access them later! Aside from the hardware quality issue I also found some cosmetic damage on the top shelf (pictured). Apparently, it passed their quality control at the factory. It's not a deal breaker for me, and at this price point it still provides a better value than similar tv stands made from glued wood chips and sawdust. I'm sure it will hold up and look good for many years.
