Customer Reviews
If you live in a place with stairs, be ready for a workout bringing this up—it's pretty heavy! But that’s actually a plus since it feels sturdy and the wood looks great. I posted a photo in different lighting to show it off better. Putting this cabinet together is a lot like assembling IKEA stuff. Make sure you have a power tool handy and block out about two hours if you're doing it solo. You really need to follow the instructions closely and focus, or you might lose track! There are a few little cosmetic issues with the holes, as I’ve shown in my pic, but they don't mess with putting it together. Just a heads up that the adjustable shelf holes are tricky because you have to hammer in the shelf pegs, which makes adjusting the height harder. When assembling the cabinet doors, it's important to place the hinges halfway in first and then adjust slowly to avoid gaps between the doors (check out my picture for reference). But don’t stress if it doesn’t go perfectly! Hawkins Woodshop even has a helpful video in the product questions section. Overall, I’m happy with how the cabinet turned out! The warm finish isn’t too much, so it works nicely with the rest of my furniture. I especially enjoy the push-to-open top drawers. They hold a gallon-size zip lock box, a quart zip lock box, and two latex glove boxes easily. While it’s not huge, it’s a solid option for storing kitchenware, pet food, toys, or even your favorite drinks!

Great Style at a Great Price
I was really impressed with the quality and look of this piece. I bought two of the sand units to place next to each other in my office, which is the first room people see when they walk in. I wanted something that was both pretty and practical. Assembly took a bit of time, but the instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. Once I had them put together, they felt sturdy and stable. The two units lined up perfectly. There's plenty of storage space, and the finish is a breeze to clean. Overall, these look way nicer and work better than similar options from big online stores.

Love the Cabinet 😍
You should definitely get this cabinet! It turns out gorgeous once you assemble it. My boyfriend and I spent about 4 hours putting it together, and I enjoy seeing how it all comes together. If you're not into that kind of thing, just a heads-up. I wanted to wait a week before I reviewed it, and I honestly feel like I got my money’s worth. It's a bit stiff right now, but I'm hopeful it will loosen up with use. The measurements are spot on; it fits perfectly in my space. It's just the right size—not too big, not too small. Go for it!

Solid cabinet with a learning curve
If you’re in a walk-up apartment, get ready for a workout because this thing is pretty heavy. It’s a good kind of heavy though—super sturdy and the wood color looks! I snapped a pic in two different lights to show it off. Assembling it is a bit like putting together IKEA stuff, so be prepared. Have a power tool handy and set aside a couple of hours if you're flying solo. Follow the instructions closely and minimize distractions! You might get a bit frustrated, but you'll finish it eventually. There are some small cosmetic flaws in the holes, as I noted in the picture, but they don’t mess with the assembly. Just a heads up—when you're adjusting the adjustable shelves, be ready to use a hammer on the pegs, which can make height adjustments a bit tricky. When you attach the doors, it's important to position the hinges just right otherwise you’ll end up with gaps between the doors (check out the picture). No need to panic though; they have a walkthrough video in the product questions section. In the end, the cabinet looks! The warm tone blends well with most furniture, making the space feel cohesive. I like the push-to-open feature on the top drawers. They fit a gallon zip lock box, a quart-sized one, and two boxes of latex gloves just right. While it’s not the biggest cabinet, it’s a great piece for storing kitchen stuff, pet food, toys, or even some drinks!

Seriously, you should get this cabinet! It looks amazing once it’s all set up. My boyfriend and I took about 4 hours to put it together, and I actually enjoy assembling furniture because I love seeing how it all comes together. I wanted to wait a week before writing this, and I feel like I got great value for my money. It’s a bit stiff at first, but I’m hoping it will loosen up with time. So far, it’s working well! The measurements are spot on, and it fits perfectly in the space I had in mind—just the right size, not too big or small. Recommend it!

If you live in an apartment with stairs, get ready for a workout getting this thing up! It’s pretty hefty, but that just shows how sturdy it is, and the wood color looks amazing! I took a pic in different lighting with a small box on top for size reference. Putting this cabinet together is a lot like building IKEA furniture, so set aside a good two hours and grab a power tool if you're doing it solo. Seriously, stick to the instructions, eliminate distractions, and focus! You might feel a bit lost at times, but you’ll get through it. There are a few small cosmetic flaws with the holes, as shown in the picture, but they don’t mess with the assembly too much. Just note that the holes for the adjustable shelves may require some hammering to fit the pegs, which can make height adjustments tougher. Also, when attaching the cabinet doors, make sure the hinges are halfway in before making any adjustments. If you don’t, you might end up with a gap, but no stress! There’s a helpful video under the product questions tab. Overall, the cabinet looks! The warm tone isn’t too much, so it matches well with other furniture, helping tie everything together. I love the push-to-open drawers. Each one fits a gallon zip lock box, a quarter zip lock box, and two latex glove boxes just right. It’s compact, but it’s for stashing kitchen things, pet food, toys, or even a bit of booze!
