Sturdy and easy to assemble
I was a bit hesitant to buy this since I've had trouble returning furniture in the past, but with all the good reviews for both the product and Hawkins Woodshop, I decided to go for it. I’m glad I did! It’s definitely easier to put together with two people, especially when you're standing it up. It came together pretty smoothly except for the small screws, which were a bit tricky. Everything was packed well, and all the pieces arrived in great shape. I’ve set it to three heights for sitting, standing, and when I'm on the treadmill. Happy with my choice!

Perfect standing desk with a minor tweak
I originally gave this desk three stars, but after working with Colby and showing the issue I had with it, they really stepped up. They sent me instructions and troubleshooting tips that helped a lot. I ended up returning the first desk and got a new one. Putting it together the second time was quicker because I knew exactly what to do. The desk functions amazingly and assembling it was straightforward as long as you stick to the instructions. I appreciated the thoughtful design; from the hole placements to the bearings, it’s evident that a lot of care went into it. I’d recommend this desk to anyone in the market for a standing desk. I got the L-shaped desk without any extras for $300. It goes up and down and gives me plenty of space for my two monitors, a 32" and a 42", with room for more. The cable management spot is well-placed, but I'd suggest using a surge protector with a long cord since it can get tight when raised. I'm 5'9" and don't need it all the way up. The desk looks nice, though the wood quality isn't top-notch, it's still decent for the price, especially compared to other places. Pros: The cup-holder is the best I've ever seen. Great Value for a L-Shaped Desk
This desk is just what I needed. It’s a spacious L-shaped standing desk that’s well-built and affordable. I recommend assembling it in a room with plenty of space, as you’ll be working with it upside down for most of the setup. The assembly instructions are mostly clear, but having a friend help would definitely speed things up (I managed to do it alone, but flipping it over was a bit tricky and not something I’d want to do again!). I had a few issues with the table, but Colby helped me sort everything out! It seems the table got damaged during shipping, so I can't really blame the product itself for that. Overall, it's a nice-looking table, but there are some drawbacks. The monitor mount is a bit shaky and doesn't hold up well, even with good quality gas springs. The rods for the lifting mechanism also make some noise, and you can't get replacement parts easily—you have to take the table apart and return it. In general, it doesn't feel stable. If you're a gamer or streamer, I wouldn't recommend it; even my mouse makes a loud noise when I put it down.
