Surprised by the Comfort!
I bought this air mattress for some friends staying over at our place, and I was blown away by how nice it is! I didn't even know they made them this tall until I saw a friend with one. My husband and I gave it a shot last night, and we were both impressed! 1. Inflating it was easy. The built-in pump is a game changer—no searching for a separate pump! Plus, it wasn't loud at all. I could chat with my husband while it was going. 2. It felt really comfy and supportive! We didn't inflate it all the way so it shaped to us a bit better. We tried it out without sheets, and I didn’t feel any bumps or crease issues. No sagging either; I barely noticed when my husband got up in the night. 3. Deflating was a breeze too. We followed the directions for folding and got it back in the bag without any trouble. Just make sure to get all the air out first. 4. The quality seems solid! We even had our little dogs on it, and I was worried about their nails, but so far, so good! There’s just a tiny bit of air loss, but I think that’s normal as it settles. A couple of downsides: the pump doesn't turn off by itself, so watch it while it’s working. Also, it can get pretty cold at night—woke up needing my blanket! I’ll try adding sheets next time. Ours came with a patch, but hopefully, we won't need it.

Best air mattress ever.
I picked this up during a sale at Hawkins Woodshop. I’ve had awful experiences with air beds before—they usually end up flat by morning. But this mattress is a total game changer. It comes with a built-in pump for easy inflation and deflation, and it honestly feels like a real mattress. So comfy and it stays inflated! I even laid down on it after inflating and ended up taking a nap. The height is just right, so no awkward crawling out of bed. Plus, it comes with a storage bag that makes packing it away a breeze. I’m definitely planning to get another one. Highly recommend this air mattress!

Pleasantly Surprised by This Mattress!
I was a bit hesitant before buying this mattress since it was meant for my mother-in-law's senior community and I didn't want to spend too much. I thought it might be low quality but figured it would be a good temporary solution for visiting relatives. Setting it up was really easy. It inflated in about 4-5 minutes, and while the motor made some noise, it wasn't as loud as our Costco mattress. It's quite big, which turned out to be a bonus. The height helps older folks get out of bed easily, unlike the low Costco mattress that can be tough to get up from in the morning. As for comfort, I only used it alone, but I found it to be nice! I had to adjust it a bit since I prefer a firmer feel while side sleeping. The first couple of nights, I tossed around a bit, and I did notice it seemed to lose a bit of air, but I learned it was just “stretching” like the manufacturer said. After that, I re-inflated it to my preference and it was for the rest of my stay. Deflating it took a bit longer than inflating, maybe 7-8 minutes, but it packed up well into the storage bag. Overall, I’m thrilled with my purchase. If everything continues to go well, I think I’ll be getting another one to replace our aging Costco air mattress. For now, I’m giving it 5 stars overall, but 4 stars for sleep quality just because finding the right level of firmness is a bit of a process.

Best air mattress ever.
I picked this up during a sale at Hawkins Woodshop. I've had terrible experiences with air mattresses—they usually end up deflated by morning. But this one is impressive! It has a built-in pump for easy inflation and deflation and feels just like a real mattress. I tried it out and ended up napping on it because it’s so comfy. The height is great too; you don’t have to crawl out of it. Plus, it comes with a handy storage bag, which makes repacking a breeze. I'm definitely getting another one. Highly recommend this mattress!

Perfect for guests with the 3" topper!
I received this inflatable mattress a few days ago and set it up without any issues. I followed the instructions and ran the pump a few times on the first day to help with a little stretching. After 48 hours, it’s inflated as well as it was the day before. The internal ribs keep it firm, almost like a real mattress. It feels sturdy and maintains its shape really well. The air pump is simple to use—just turn the knob to inflate or deflate. It holds pressure impressively, which is important. I added a 3" memory foam topper along with a mattress cover, sheets, and bedding, and my guest finds it comfortable. That 3" topper makes it feel more like a real mattress!

Great Air Mattress for Guests!
I got the Intex Queen Dura-Beam air mattress for when friends come over, and it's been working out great. Setting it up is a breeze with the built-in pump—just plug it in, and it fills up fast. Honestly, it's more comfortable than I thought it would be. The 22-inch height makes it feel a lot more like a regular bed, which my guests have really liked since it's easier to get in and out of than lower air mattresses. It does have that usual air mattress feel, but the Dura-Beam support keeps it pretty steady at night. I did have to add a bit of air after the first couple of uses, which seems normal since the material stretches. Overall, it's been for when we need an extra bed. It's comfy, handy, and easy to put away when not in use.

Such a Comfortable and Easy Air Mattress
I purchased the Intex Queen Dura-Beam air mattress for when we have guests, and I'm really happy with it. Setting it up is a breeze because of the built-in pump—just plug it in, and it inflates in no time at all. Once it's up, it's surprisingly comfy. The 22-inch height makes it feel much like a real bed, which is great for guests as it's easier to get in and out of than lower air mattresses. Sure, it has that usual air mattress vibe, but the Dura-Beam support keeps it pretty stable throughout the night. I've noticed it needs a little air top-off after the first couple of uses, but that's to be expected as the material stretches. Overall, it's been for temporary sleeping needs. It's comfy, easy to store when not in use, and a solid choice if you need an extra bed for guests or travel.

Skeptical at first, but after first use (so far) it’s a solid product
I initially bought this to stay at my mil’s senior community (to help her get settled), so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it and I planned to leave it for other relatives that might want to visit. I expected it to be cheap-ish quality and probably not last through my two week stay. First off, set up was a breeze. I laid it out and started inflation and it took about 4-5 minutes to fully inflate. The motor made noise, but it’s to be expected from something like this—I can say that it wasn’t as noisy as our Costco-bought mattress. Second, it’s big—but that’s not a bad thing as much as I thought anyway after I saw it fully inflated. Turns out, for me, it’s a good thing. Our Costco mattress sits low to the floor and as it deflates a bit during the night, it’s tough to get up. This one (the 22” model and the largest one at this writing) is wonderful as I can sit on the edge of it and stand up easily. Your experience may be different, but for older folks it makes it really easy to get out of bed in the morning. How does it sleep? Well, since I was visiting by myself and my significant other wasn’t with me, I can only speak for a single sleeper. It was really comfortable! It did take a bit of tweaking though as I thought I would like it more firm as I like to side sleep. The first couple of nights were a bit rough as I tossed and turned a bit in my sleep—I found that I couldn’t get comfortable on my side. For the reviews that say that it deflates after sleeping on it, I can say that it did seem to lose some air after the first two nights. The manufacturer does state that it does “stretch” and not deflate. As I wanted to test that statement, I didn’t change the firmness of it by re-inflating it to where I had it. The third and fourth nights were better sleep and I didn’t feel like the mattress deflated at all, so I found the stretch statement to be valid—it wasn’t losing air. After that night, I re-inflated it to where I thought I’d like it. The next night was the same tossing and turning that I had those first two nights, so I concluded that I needed to make it less firm and I actually DEflated it a bit and for the rest of the stay it was perfect! I didn’t have to touch it and I even unplugged it. When I was getting ready to leave, I started the deflation process by turning the dial in the opposite direction. It took longer to deflate, so I walked away for a bit—I’d guess about 7-8 minutes. When I came back the mattress was flat as a pancake and ready to fold. This is the only hassle of the process as folding it to get it into the storage bag and back into the box (for storage). I do like the tote that they provide as the handles make it easy to lug about. So, the first use was a success. If repeated uses reveal issues, I’ll report back. I will say that I plan to buy another one to replace our beloved Costco air mattress—she’s showing her age and the height of this one as well as the cost make it a no-brainer to get it as a second. We’ll use this one until it dies (if it even does) and then fall back on our old one if needed. I gave an overall 5 stars for the product with 4 stars for sleep quality and comfort only because your idea of these two might be a bit of a learning experience until you find your inflation sweet spot—so it’s not just an “inflate fully and use” type of scenario.

Sleeps Like a Real Bed - Best Air Mattress I've Ever Owned!
I picked up the Intex 64417ED 22-inch Queen Dura-Beam Comfort air mattress for hosting out-of-town guests and I am completely blown away by how comfortable and well built this thing is. At 22 inches tall, it sits at the same height as a regular bed frame which makes getting on and off incredibly easy - no more struggling up from the floor like with cheaper air mattresses!
