Awesome Desk — Worth Every Minute to Assemble
I’m really happy with this desk! It arrived in pieces, but I managed to put it together myself without any help. I’m not handy, and it took me around 3 hours, but the instructions were straightforward and everything was organized nicely. Once it was up, I was amazed at how gorgeous and solid it looks. It's actually bigger than I thought, which is great, and it makes my new office look complete. The design is simple and modern but has a warm, quality feel. It’s sturdy, well-built, and doesn’t wobble at all. If you're thinking about it, just go for it! Just find a few hours, take your time, and enjoy the result. I’m thrilled with how it turned out!

I recently got both the L-shaped desk and the one with double-sided drawers for my home office, and I have to say they're really nice! Putting them together took some time, but it was pretty easy, and the instructions were clear. They look and have ample storage; the drawers slide nicely, and I'm a big fan of the color. The listing described it as 'army green' or 'green-gray,' but it's more like a dark gray with a slight green hint—don't let that throw you off! I did take off a quarter point because on the L-desk, the rods for hanging file folders are set too far apart, so I had to make a small adjustment with my drill. Also, I was under the impression that the double-sided desk would have a file drawer on the left, but it doesn't, which is a bit disappointing. Overall though, these desks are impressive and sturdy, and I'm pleased with my purchase!

Fluted Desk
I just finished my first week using this desk and I’m really happy with it. It took some time to get here, though, because the first one arrived with a damaged corner, likely from shipping. I reached out to Hawkins Woodshop and Colby was helpful. He gave me a couple of options, and I decided it was best to just get a whole new desk instead of just a replacement top. Unfortunately, the second desk also had issues, with the top broken in half. Again, I contacted Colby and he took care of it quickly, sending me another new desk. Thankfully, this one arrived in condition! While it was a bit of a process, Colby was the whole time—nice and attentive to my situation. Now, about the desk: it looks gorgeous for something you assemble yourself. It's sturdy, has plenty of storage, and the soft close drawers with that fluted design are just lovely. The box was heavy, which I think caused some shipping issues, and it does have a lot of parts, so I had my husband do the assembly. The finished result is a beautiful addition to my office. I do think the packaging could use better cushioning since shippers can be rough. Overall, I’m satisfied with my desk, and I highly recommend Hawkins Woodshop. They stand by their products and went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. You don’t see that kind of service often!

I love this desk! It came disassembled, but I was able to put it together on my own — no help needed. I’m a female and not especially handy, and it still only took me about 3 hours to complete. The instructions were clear, and all the pieces were well-labeled and packaged. Once assembled, I was blown away by how beautiful and solid it is. It’s actually larger than I expected (in the best way) and really pulls the whole look of my new office together. The design is clean and modern but feels warm and high-quality.
