This is just what I was looking for! I’m making a sort of Taoist energy wheel, where each section represents a different aspect of life with small, meaningful trinkets. It's really neat. I echo the other reviewers when I say it took me about four hours to assemble. I was prepared for that since I read the reviews beforehand. I did end up with a couple of pieces flipped the wrong way; I guess I was tired from assembling other furniture that day. I followed the instructions closely, but when I added the rings at the end, I realized I needed to adjust some things. You see if you made mistakes right at the finish line! Overall, it’s truly beautiful. I did accidentally damage a small part, but that was on me. It’s sturdy and just gorgeous. I'm pleased with my purchase. Just be ready to invest some time in putting it together, and having a hex drill bit on hand would help!

Sturdy bookshelves at a great price!
These bookshelves arrived in a big, heavy box (over 100 lbs) that had both shelves inside. That was a bit intimidating at first, but the packaging was done really well. The box made it off the delivery truck without any issues, and everything was in shape. I had to unpack it and move everything separately, which worked better for me. Each piece was clearly labeled, making it easy to check everything. Just make sure to pay attention to the diagrams for the orientation of the bars, bolts, and shelves. It can be easy to mix things up, but I was able to assemble one shelf in under 4 hours by myself (I'm on the smaller side), and the second one went much faster since I was already familiar with the pieces. You'll need a decent amount of floor space to get it together, especially with one shelf spread out. Overall, these are solid and beautiful shelves that look in my office. I'm happy with my purchase!
