The shipping was quick, but I was hoping for better packaging. There were some minor scuffs on the front edge, but it was easy to cover with furniture touch up paint. Putting it together was fast and easy, and while all the tools were included, I used my own for a quicker setup. Just a heads up—don't over-tighten the screws. It's stable and doesn’t wobble, plus there’s plenty of space for video games and other electronics. The wires can go underneath, but it might be better to drill a hole to run them straight back for a cleaner look. A wax bar is included to help the panel slide, and it works surprisingly well over time. Our 75” TV fits nicely, but I wouldn’t go any bigger due to the size proportion. Overall, it looks great, and we saved quite a bit compared to a similar piece we found nearby.

This piece looks great! The color is just like what I saw in the pictures. I’m happy with it overall, although the peg legs felt a bit short for my taste. The cord hole is at the bottom, which can be tricky depending on cord length, but it does a good job of hiding the cords. The doors work nicely, although one sliding door is a bit stiffer than the other, but I think it will loosen up with use. Putting it together isn't too hard, but it does take a little time. If you enjoy assembling furniture, you'll find this one fun.

I am amazed at the quality and style of this stand. It is sturdy and stable, and the shelf and storage are nice. The doors were a little stiff and I found silicone spray worked great. Don't use the usual wd, I like Elmer's Slide-All. It would take a lot of wax to get the same results and wax eventually will get dirty and gummy. An easy slide means I will actually use the storage. The instructions are clear and it was easy to put together. It is heavy otherwise I could have put it together all by myself but needed help turning it over. And the packet of spare parts was a nice touch, one washer was defective so it came in handy. The woodgrain is surprisingly realistic, even though the edges could be finished better. I wasn't sure about the color -- at first it looked to light -- but after it was in the room I really like it. I am extremely pleased. One of the best Hawkins Woodshop purchases I've made this month (yeah, I know it's only July 3 but I do a lot of Hawkins Woodshop shopping).
