Great desk at a solid price
This desk is pretty modern and unique, and honestly, for the price, it feels like a great deal. The finish looks decent; it's sort of hard with a resin-like veneer. The longer legs are made of black painted steel, and everything is supported by a sturdy steel frame. When I first saw all the pieces and hardware, it felt a bit overwhelming, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. It took me about three hours to set it up at a relaxed pace, with a little help from my wife towards the end. I appreciate that all the panels are just 1/2" thick—it's solid but easy to manage, and it fits well with that modern, minimalist look without sacrificing style. I initially tried attaching my dual monitor arms, but I wasn't too keen on how that looked. Luckily, the desk is deep enough for my larger monitors (24" with a 16:10 aspect ratio shown in the picture) to sit comfortably on it. If I had to point out one small issue, it would be the lack of grommets for cable management with the monitors. That said, the steel frame around the desk does allow for attaching magnetic cable ties (see pic). Just a heads-up, I’m not sure if an aftermarket keyboard tray would fit well with this desk since the steel frame is 1.5" thick. You'd probably need to pull the keyboard and mouse out when sliding it back in.

Nicer than expected: looks great and good quality

It does take some time to put together, and while the instructions are okay, they're not, so just take your time with them. Everything fit together well, and I didn’t have any issues with bolts being hard to thread. Honestly, it looks even better in person than in the pictures. I managed to assemble it by myself even though it suggested three people, although I did need a hand for the last step when lifting the top onto the side cabinet, but it wasn’t too tricky. One thing to note is to pay attention to the details in the instructions – they’re pretty thorough but you have to make sure the parts match what you think they should be. I spent about 3 hours on it, but I was careful to get it right. The packaging was decent; I could see how rough handling during shipping might cause issues, but mine arrived without a scratch. Bring your own Phillips head screwdriver since the one included was a bit small for me. Overall, these aren’t downsides, just things to keep in mind before diving in. I’m happy with this desk, especially for the price. It looks nicer than I thought it would, and I expected it to cost way more. If you’re not experienced with furniture assembly, I’d recommend getting someone who is to help out, as it might be a bit overwhelming otherwise. Great desk for a home office
This desk looks nice and is super practical. I like the drawers and the file cabinet with the bottom drawer. The side table is for printers or other items that shouldn’t clutter the main tabletop. It’s spacious enough for a good monitor setup. The glossy finish does show fingerprints and smudges easily, but just wipe it down regularly and it stays nice! Overall, I'm happy with the quality and construction of the desk.
