Big and Solid
This was purchased for a new office at work. The assembly took about 5 hours. It is a large desk and following the assembly step by step is critical. You don't want to rush it and make a mistake that requires you to disassemble and go back to correct. Once it is assembled, moving it is a two person job. Since the desk is L shaped and very heavy, you need to scoot it rather than lift it. Also, without a second person, you will risk stressing and breaking where the 2 legs of the L shape are connected. Additionally, using the top surface to lift the desk will risk the top becoming disconnected from the base. I knew all of this before I decided to purchase the desk, so there were no surprises. It was worth the effort to assemble and is workable for me to get help to scoot it if I need to move it. Just know that this is not something you should plan on moving much as all after it is assembled. I am very happy with this and I could find nothing else the comes close to being this big and with perfect functionality for my big desk needs.

Love it. Packed well in 3 boxes. Be aware piece 18 in the photos shows it with only 2 holes but it has several more. Hopefully they fix that but I still give 5 stars for this sturdy, beautiful desk.

I was initially hesitant about purchasing such a large item through Hawkins Woodshop, but the entire process—from shipping to assembly—was handled very well. The desk arrived securely packaged on a pallet and was well protected during transit. Assembly was relatively straightforward, though I recommend setting aside approximately four hours to complete it comfortably. Once assembled, the desk is extremely sturdy and looks exactly as advertised online. Considering the size and quality, the value is outstanding. I spent time comparing similar desks both online and in-store, and I was unable to find anything comparable at this price point. I did purchase a few additional accessories to help manage and conceal cables, as shown in the photos, and I installed a slide-out keyboard tray. While this worked well, it would be a great option for the manufacturer to consider offering a built-in keyboard tray, though I understand it may not be necessary for all users. Lastly, the customer support was excellent. They proactively reached out after delivery to ensure everything went smoothly and to offer assistance if needed—something I have not experienced with other sellers.
