Assembly long but straight forward
It took 3 people 4 hours to put it together. We had 3 drills/electric screwdrivers (you will want this rather than doing everything by hand) and 3 Allen wrenches. Some of the pieces you need early in the build are in box 2, so go ahead and open both at the start. Each box has a parts list that tells you what is in both boxes, which was really helpful. One thing I didn't see clearly in the directions was the top middle shelf needing to go a specific direction to be able to slide the back piece into place. Aside from the center shelf on the top, the others use pegs so you can adjust the height. I wish it was 4-6 inches deeper to give my dog more space to turn around. She is a 60lb pit and I would say she's about the max size for the crate without center divider. Honestly, she might even be a bit too large for it. I don't think my friend's 60lb lab mix would be comfortable in it because of the height. With the divider I think each side is similar in size to a medium hard sided crate. Update 7/19/26My dog was able to open the crate by sticking her paw through the bars and hitting the red button. For now, I'm going to use a chain and padlock to keep it from opening if she hits the button, but eventually I plan to add some mesh or something so she can't stick her paws through the bars.

Versatile and Beautiful!
Love this thing! I have a smaller kitchen, and two smaller dogs that need crated at night. Multi-function is a must in this house! This thing seems to be of decent quality, looks great, and serves more than one purpose. It was simple enough to assemble that my husband was able to do it alone, aside from just needing a hand to lift the top on to the bottom part. The locking mechanism on the sliding doors seems to be good so far! My one dog is a horrible escape artist, and he's yet to break out of this crate. We did get sent the wrong door for the left side of the crate, but the customer service was excellent and sent us out a replacement. I haven't taken new photos since replacing the door, so pardon the "2 right doors". This has been great for storing dishes, cook books, and has allowed me to free up counter space and even leave out my stand mixer and crock pot for the first time in eons! Love this.

The item is exactly as pictured. Pros:Able to modify for 1 large kennel or two small breed kernels. Rotating bowls allow for feeding or water consumption control. Several ways to access kennel so you can place this item in any configuration and still use it. Shelving is removable for large items like Stanley cups or kuerig machines. Cons:2 person - 4 to 5 hour build timeSome holes were not deep enough of bolts were to big and if you aren't careful, over tightening can push out the kennel top. Orientation is important and it's difficult to decipher on a few key pieces. Sticker covers for cam locks. Would have been better to go with some type of snap in. No designed way to add power strip or lights, or water lines to shelving or take top. Have to drill holes after build.

This was a bit taller than I expected because I measured incorrectly but it was a happy accident on my end. I love the amount of storage, I actually ran out if her things to store and had plenty of room to add some personal touches to make it more like furniture. The crate space is perfect for her as she is all leg so she had a hard time moving around in her old crate. I have just the one dog, a malinois mix, so I left the divider out. She's in heaven, she actually is so comfortable in there she goes in to take a nap even when Im home. I love the sliding doors because they lock and unlock so easily but its very clear how to use. My favorite part is she has access to water while I'm at work. While I come home for lunch, I hate that she doesn't have access to water til I get back. I feel better now knowing she can finish her breakfast and have water while I'm gone. She's truly living the good life with this set up, and if she's happy then I'm happy
