Great desk and well designed
This is a well designed desk. The instructions are clear and though it takes time to assemble, everything fit together perfectly. I was impressed with the dimples for alignment which made everything go smoothly. The motor runs smoothly and raises / lowers quickly. Worth the price.

I thought it was a bust on delivery until I contacted Hawkins Woodshop and they confirmed the order comes in multiple shipments and provided a tracking number. After installation i was very pleased. The instructions were easy to do by myself but another person at certain point could help. The desk has 2 preset options for max height and it's lowest height and 2 other options to save a custom height. Desk top does not feel like cheap brittle wood but it's not the most durable in the world. The legs/ base are metal and supports the the weight of my pc and 2 monitors and I could sit on this desk @170 lbs without a worry. Cable management is decent with the tray underneath but I have my surge protector in that slot with room for more cables. Great desk for $200 beats paying $1000 for a secretlabs one.

Enjoy standing desk and the options of setting the height up and down. My height (5'9) I need maybe 1 to 2 inches (ergonomics) higher but overall it does the job. I am still comfortable when using the desk at the max height and when sitting. The desk is very spacious and you can include many things on the desk. The only thing that I experienced was the button did not work once. After I troubleshoot it, I did not have that problem again. I think if you don't use it all the time, the settings may default back to neutral/zero setting. You may have to reset it again to the sitting or standing level of your choice. I had a friend assembled it and I think he did it within 1 hour. I believe he used a drill to make sure everything was solid. It does take its time to go up and down. I wish the speed was a bit faster. I would recommend to others.

I have now purchased 2 of the 48''x 24'' standing desks. I bought one for myself 3 years ago and it's still going strong. I'm was pretty pleased with mine that I ended up getting one for my wife. Material is pretty light, but sturdy. I'm able to move it around the house trying to figure out the best placement. The assembly was very easy and instructions are pretty clear. They provide you with an Allen wrench, but no Phillips screwdriver (you should have one of those laying around. Took around 30 mins tops. The height adjustment features are pretty simple and pretty self explanatory. You can have different height settings if different people use your desk. This thing really helped me out when my back and butt is tired of sitting in a chair all day. Helps to be able to stand for a little while. If you can pick it up on sale for under $100, that's a win. I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a standup desk.

Even though the box says it is a two-man job, I put the desk together myself, and I’m just a girl. I had no issues. Everything works perfectly. Because of the mixed reviews, I did get the insurance. The height is perfect. The alignment is perfect. It was the quintessential piece to my home office and it’s very easy to use. I just love this desk. 10 out of 10!!!
