Would not recommend for larger dogs

Beautiful piece of furniture, looks way better than a generic dog crate. The dimensions are a little deceptive. The metal divider does come out, but it leaves a 2.5 inch wooden frame that my 100 lb golden retriever has to lay across. We can't find a way to remove the frame without cutting it out at the floor or buying extra thick foam, which will make things even more cramped for him. Also of note, the depth is inches smaller at the transition. This crate is probably better suited for smaller dogs using the divider. I would not recommend for larger dogs that need the entire length, even though it is beautiful and the storage is useful. It would get 5 stars if the entire crate was open without the wooden frame.
