Great desk
I bought this to replace my existing L-desk that I've had for 10+years. It's easy to build, no power tools needed. You will need a Phillips screwdriver. I do wish the power adapter had a longer cable but I made it work. The desk itself is very stable with no rocking or moving on my hardwood floor. The table top itself is decent and significantly better particle board than you'd get at Walmart, for example. There is plenty of room for cable channel on the back underside for tidy cables.

Great desk for $250
I've been using an Ikea Fredde for 8 years now, and spent the past few months looking for a desk that fit my style and purpose. Things I was looking for in a desk: L desk, height adjustable, and good weight capacity. This ticked all the right boxes, and luckily I had just passed on purchasing a shorter desk like this one on day, so I'm very happy to have spotted this one the day after. Assembly was a little bit of a pain with my room configuration, but I was able to put it together and move it into place in about an hour (I'm anal about instructions and planning), and, while I didn't like that I had to drill some holes myself, it wasn't difficult to put together at all (I suspect some holes were not pre-drilled to allow for two different assembly choices). The table top is about what'd you'd expect at this price: particle board layered with plastic veneer, but that's par for the course. The legs, however, are very solid, and the motors are very smooth and quiet. All-in-all, if you're looking for a large L desk with height adjustability and don't want to break the bank, this is an excellent option to consider.

Excellent Standing Desk
Excellent build, sturdy and has good weight for this price. The electric motor is more than powerful enough for a multiple screen set up and the low and high settings are perfect to accommodate sitting and standing. Easily adjustable allowing for multiple settings with one click adjustments. Quality is so good we purchased a second desk to expand our home office desk space.

This desk is awesome! It is heavy duty and is a great size. The motor is actually quiet-enough for the few times you will use it and is very smooth - hence, go ahead and stack things on your desk, they will not fall over. There are three table top pieces which you will attach to each other. It is best to put this together on a hard floor and not on carpet, like I did. The table top pieces did not line up perfectly on the surface and I added some extra support with thin brackets. These brought the top in alignment and allow for items to sit on the desk flat and to be pushed across the desk. There are three programmable presets which are super-easy to use and accurately remember the position you assign them. I really like standing occasionally, and so does my back and neck! The instructions could be a little clearer, but you should be able to figure it out fairly easily.
