Solid and easy to assemble
I was a bit hesitant to buy this because I usually avoid ordering furniture online, but the positive reviews for Hawkins Woodshop convinced me. I'm glad I took the chance! It went together pretty easily, especially with two people to help, but those tiny wood screws were a bit tricky to deal with. Everything was packed really well, and all the pieces arrived in condition. I set it up for three different heights: sitting, standing, and even while using a treadmill. Best cup-holder ever and a solid desk!
I got the basic L-shaped desk for $300, and it's definitely my favorite desk. There's enough room for 3-4 monitors—I'm using a 32" and a 42" and still have space for my computer. The cable management is good, but I’d suggest a long surge protector because it’s a bit tight when you raise it. I'm 5'9", so I don’t need to lift it all the way up, but it works well. It looks nice with a carbon fiber finish, though the wood isn't top-notch but decent for the price. The cup-holder is —best I've seen on a desk! I might not get another desk just because of that. The headphone holder is useful too; I keep my Meta Quest 3 and Arctis Pro there, and they stay put when I adjust the height. Directions could be clearer; I’ve built furniture before, so I managed, but it took some extra time to get the lifting cylinders in. I'd recommend having a second person help at first to keep things steady. Use a hand screwdriver; the screws might get damaged if you use power tools. Overall, I love the desk and that cup-holder—5 stars!

I'm really happy with this desk! I went for the larger size, and the extra space is for me. It was pretty easy to put together, although I had a bit of trouble getting the screws into the bars, probably because of the paint. Also, the instructions could use a bit of clarification on which way the metal square plates go; I ended up searching for that. But the motor works well and I'm loving it overall!

Die Monitorhalterung wackelt ziemlich und selbst die besten Gasdruckfedern können das dünne Brett nicht halten. Auch die Geräusche vom Hebemechanismus sind nervig, da man keine Ersatzteile bekommt und den Tisch auseinanderbauen und zurückschicken soll. Außerdem steht der Tisch nicht wirklich stabil, was für Gamer oder Streamer nicht ideal ist. Sogar die Maus macht ein lautes Geräusch, wenn man sie absetzt.

Great standing desk after some help
I initially rated this desk 3 stars due to some issues, but after working with Colby and showing him some videos of the problems I faced, he helped me troubleshoot and even provided extra instructions. This desk is one of the easiest standing desks to put together if you stick to the instructions. When I first got this desk, I thought this box is a little small for how big this desk is supposed to be. Then when I start putting it together, I was thinking the same thing. Then I realized that this desk actually expands and creates much more room with expansion brackets. This L-shaped desk is one of the best I’ve used I will be doing a review on my YouTube channel so you can see for yourself. Putting it together was not the easiest, but it wasn’t too hard. I put it together by myself and it works great. The motor is not the fastest but it gets the job done, and at this price I think the value is great.
