I'm really happy with my purchase! Just a heads up, it took me about 4 hours to assemble, so set aside some time for that. Make sure to follow the steps carefully. A woman can put this together! I found a little mistake in the instructions at step 22, where the tops should be switched, but overall, it’s a good deal. The package is quite heavy and you’ll need to assemble it yourself. The dimensions were spot on, and it only includes the crate itself, so you'll need to get some extras for your dog. The wood feels sturdy and solid, and I set it up on a rug to avoid scratches. The metal bars are pretty hefty, too. After I finish setting it up with some bedding, I can't wait for my yorkie to check it out!

Customer Support is Amazing
I wish I could give this an amazing review, it took me approximately four hours to build this and then the top was not cut correctly so the pieces overlapped and do not sit flat. It is a beautiful piece and very solid so I was pretty bummed out. I will say though, customer service (Hawkins Woodshop) was amazing! We messaged back and forth a few times and they very nicely refunded me for the cage, they did not make me send it back because that would have been a nightmare, they said I can do whatever I wanted with it. Instead of crapping it, I took out the bolts and nailed them into the cage so the top would stay down, we are getting use out of it even though there are ugly nail holes in the top. I just stuck pictures and my few trinkets over them to cover them up. I am very grateful for the experience with customer service.

Great purchase! Please allow at least 4 hours assembly time. Follow steps in order. Can be assembled by a woman!! Step 22, switch the tops, the instructions are wrong. This is great for the price. Comes in a heavy package that you must assemble. Measurements are exact. Comes with nothing but the crate itself you will have to accessorize for your dog. Quality of wood is heavy and appears to be solid. I put together on a area rug to prevent scratches. The bars are heavy metal. After I finish with bedding I hope my yorkie loves it!!
