Just what I expected! It was easy to assemble, though it might be lower than a lot of desks, which is a bit strange with the underhang. The surface is really slick, so sliding a drink across it is a bit of fun. I ended up getting two of them.

I think this desk looks great. You get what you pay for, so it is all made of mdf, but seems sturdy enough. The directions were slightly confusing and I did get a screw stuck in the wrong thread and had to use pliers and a screw driver to separate them, but it still worked out. The top wood grain doesn't line up, but it doesn't look as bad in person as it does in photos, so it doesn't bother me! I think it'll scratch somewhat easily. So we're using desk pads to prevent wear and tear. I wouldn't use it as a dining table or without some kind of lining probably. There is a gap that's frustrating at the front. Wish I had tried harder to fix that before the end of assembly, not sure it would've mattered. You can also see the slight wear on the edge of the desk top, but again, not as bad in person.
